KMS Tools & Equipment - Kamloops Omdömen 40

So far my experience with KMS tools has been good and positive I've found a staff to be friendly and easy to approach to the tools are a good quality and reasonably priced I get good deals on brands that I'm looking for and hard to find tools

Always helpful and friendly staff

Staff were great , very nice people.

Very good customer service. Every staff member I’ve dealt with has been courteous and friendly. When I’ve had to order products or have a tool repaired things came in and back in the time frame suggested.

KMS stocks some great tools at good prices and the staff are friendly and helpful, for the most part.

I had an interesting experience, though. I bought some Milwaukee items from the Coquitlam store and asked for their best price. The salesman said that was exactly why one should buy from their (brick and mortar) stores and not from Amazon - because they are more than happy to ‘make you a deal’. Sounds right.

Subsequently when I went to by some more Milwaukee items, this time from the Kamloops store, and asked for a ‘deal’, the salesman replied with, “Why would I do that?” (Give me a deal). I replied something to the effect of, “To keep your long term customer coming back.”

In any case, deals or no deals, it doesn’t pay to belittle your clients when they do have many other sources to purchase from. I’ve spent many thousands of dollars at KMS and this salesman’s flippant response came close to making choose not to shop there again. (Date below is approximate)

6 out of 10 times I have gone in to the store to purchase and KMS has no stock. Router bits is a big thing for me and you barely stock any of they, so I order from Lee Valley.

Helping hand
I received a helping hand when I ask where a product was.
At the counter it was the same service, where once again extra time was required to complete the purchase.

Knowledgeable staff. Good selection. Please open late one night a week for us out of towners.

Notified immediately when my online order arrived for pick-up. Always excellent service.

New Kamloops store layout is great, easier to find what i was looking for. Everything I needed was on sale

Very happy and impressed with the additional space which has allowed the store to be much easier to get around and find what you're looking for. The staff seem happier and they're able to assist us better.

Being next to Costco was a good idea as I can nip up to KMS instead of 1 hr of tourturous trekking with the ol Lady .

1 of the staff members pointed out a better sale deal to me on a Milwaukee battery purchase I was making. It included a M18 Tool as well as the 2 batteries.

The customer service, at the Kamloops KMS in particular is exceptional. This store is head and shoulders above both the competition as well as other KMS locations.

The staff are knowledgeable about the products they sell. I recently bought an air tool then found a lower price a few days later and they had no problem matching the price.

This considerably takes the worry off the table about paying too much.
