Established in 2003 we are a family run female led business that started out by selling furniture in Tredegar, South Wales. In 2005 we moved to Blackwood, Caerphilly where we opened a two story retail store in the former Bier Keller, expanding our range of products to Furniture to homeware. 2007 was the start of an extremely tough year for us and many other businesses across the UK as the credit crunch hit, forcing us to change how the business operated. No one was buying furniture anymore so we moved into selling gifts, Jewellery, Cards. Womens Fashion accessories, Soft Toys & homeware. 2012 saw some more changes with the introduction of Number 5 The Tea Room. Which offers afternoon tea, cakes, coffees, and snacks. 2012 was also the first year we went online with Kismetblackwood.co.uk where we now stock nearly 3000 products from major brands including: Jellycat, Nomination Italy, UNOde 50, Katie Loxton, Joma London, Powder Designs and many more.

I ordered a Jellycat. There was an issue with the order however once I notified the store they were quick to find it and rectified it straight away. They sent the order the same day special delivery and added some stickers. Very good service and I will definitely be ordering again. Very happy. Thank you :)

Absolutely love this shop! It has such a beautiful selection of gifts, including some of my favourite brands like Jellycat, Maileg, Uno de 50, and Katie Loxton. There's always something special to discover, whether you're shopping for someone else or treating yourself.
The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming, making every visit a pleasure. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and the customer service is outstanding. I couldn't recommend this lovely local shop more highly!

Awesome customer service
Awesome customer service, really helpful shop staff and excellent prices on my doorstep! Where I would have had to travel to Cardiff/Merthyr to find what I needed a quick trip to Blackwood is much more convenient. Definately my go-to shop for Warhammer and whenever my daughter wants her Jellycat fix!
