Dealing with Kingswood can lead to serious complications. They may take any opportunity to mislead, or twist agreements in their favour. If given a chance, they may act prioritising their own profit over your rights or peace of mind. Always read the fine print, demand transparency, and never rely on verbal promises. What may seem like a small oversight can quickly turn into a costly and time-consuming hassle. Be cautious, document everything, and if something feels off—it probably is.

I wouldn't recommend kingswood. They are by far the worst estate agent i have rented through.
They take ages to fix/resolve any issues, not helpful and one staff member is very rude and unprofessional sadly I don't know his name.

A few months into our tenancy the fire alarm kept tripping, later found out the fire department deemed the building unsafe to live in. A few months further we had a major leak in our kitchen from waste pipes we continuously called, went into the shop and sent multiple emails informing them of the situation, they had a look seen that the whole kitchen wall and ceiling water was pouring out our floor was basically a paddling pool. Once they seen it nothing happened It was left for almost a month in this condition. They only rushed to fix the issue when I started contacting environmental health.There is one staff member who is unprofessional and is very rude.

Find another letting agents these are not worth the rent and hassle.

I have to say that I had a wonderful experience dealing with Kingswood Estate Agents when I was looking to move house. In particular with a lovely man called Simran who was dealing with my move. He went above and beyond to help me secure the property I really wanted when I encountered a little bump in the road. For which I could never thank him enough. I am now happy and settled into my new home and very grateful for the kindness and support of the Kingswood employees.

We have a lovely house at the Hawthorns in Elswick Preston where we have been here nearly 2 years now and love it ,we have just had Bob and John to do some paving which has been done very Professionally, clean and tidy done by JLC Ground Works well suited.

Unprofessional, agent didn't know anything about the property when we viewed it and after a few back and forth emails discussing the property and sending over the information they needed they just completely ignored me, very unprofessional to not keep people updated/ have the decency to just reply to emails even if it is bad news.

Regarding Kingswood Blackburn, while the quality of construction is good, their planning leaves much to be desired. Some examples of poor planning include the possibility of having a house situated 8 feet lower than your garage. They may use different bricks for different parts of your house, and when questioned, they simply attribute it to a mistake, but it does affect the appearance and value of the house.

Privacy can also become an issue, as they may construct houses around your property that are 10 feet higher and build a garden fence that is 6 feet tall. This can result in your neighbors having a direct view into your living room, and you being able to see their TV from your living room.

In light of these issues, it is advisable to avoid this builder. Their lack of attention to detail and planning can lead to both mental and financial losses in the long term.

I don’t understand some of the reviews here. My wife and I have had our house on the market with Kingswood but have just had to take it off due to a change in our personal circumstances. We dealt with Phil at Kingswood and, throughout the marketing of the property, he was polite, communicative, always gave feedback on viewings and very professional. I have little doubt they would have made a sale had we left it on the market with them and I would certainly return to them if/when our circumstances change.

Scammers, Liars. I just left the house which I rented form them. I have so many issues when I was in the property. The whole house was full of sharp nails under the carpet I injured my self so many times and they didn't do anything.
I rented the house for integrated kitchen but the fridge was broken and after 15-20 calls they changed the fridge but the whole kitchen was messed. The kitchen was not integrated any more there was no door on the fridge and 2 selves were all broken. They didn't do any thing.
There were already nails on there walls and now they are deducting the money for filling up those nails.
They are deducting £480 from my deposit just for making few cleaning changes.
They make money by and let the landlord make the money.
I really need my deposit money for my daughter's school and now they are not even giving me any thing except some pennies.
Please don't go to them in any circumstances.
Never ever ever trust them.

They’ve been poor from start to finish. Don’t answer the phones, have to resend contracts multiple times due to errors they make in them. Don’t reply to emails for weeks if at all. Repairs aren’t done even when chased. Rented a property under false pretences (said there was parking there was not). Avoid at all costs.

I am currently a tenant in a property for sale, on my child's and my own birthday i took a call from Kingswood 30/03/23 had agreed due to prior commitments and made it clear i could only allow one viewing on 4/4/23 the day before the viewing a very abrupt and extremely rude lady rang me 3/4/23 and informed me that i had three viewings arranged next day 4/4/23 which i hadn't agreed to or even discussed with anyone, i tried to explain i couldn't do it, she was insistent that i had three viewings, i refused and cancelled all appointments due to her attitude. I explained to my landlord as they had complained about my refusal to allow the appointments why i had refused, which they had not mentioned. Over the next few days i couldn't take calls as i had important meetings regarding my child's education etc and was informed by my landlord to contact Kingswood via email, which i wasn't prepared to give anyone my personal email. I finally was able to arrange multiple viewings on a single day 18/4/23 and was informed that myself and my child can both leave our home to allow the viewings to take place, we didn't feel we had much choice and agreed to lessen the stress on myself but more for my child. This is all verifiable i can supply texts etc between myself and landlord. Awful people who made sure we were made to feel unsettled and uncomfortable

Second time i have sold a property with these guys. Would recommend due to excellent service and achieving a good price level.Dealt with Phil - great professional and good to deal with.RECOMMENDED!

Appalling service from Kingswood. Arranged for a box of personal belongings to be delivered to them from a removals company for me to collect once the house was sold months later. They then denied all knowledge of receiving it despite the removals man going in person into the office and one of Kingswood's staff confirming with them that they had indeed received it (and the manager then tried to backtrack . My recommendation - if you do decide to use these cowboys (and I would highly recommend against it) make sure every single decision/question/answer is on email so you don't go through the hell of dealing with them that we did.

I would just like to say a big thank you to the Preston office, especially Andrew, on completion of the sale of our house. We don't live locally, which could have caused a problem.Andrew did all he could to help out and push the sale through and liase between us, our buyers and 3 sets of solicitors! Would highly recommend.

Do not touch this company. I put 1 star because it won't let me put less. My daughter reserved a plot almost 1 year ago due for completion August 2022. During that time they put the price up nearly 10k. They have now said property will not be ready until next year. Making so they are unable to use help to buy and so cannot afford the house. Mortgage and help to buy all set up ready . Now she is completely devastated

Fantastic service from start to finish, I can’t thank Phil who primarily dealt with our purchase & the rest of the team enough for such a friendly & consistent service. Communication was great throughout & for what wasn’t the smoothest purchase for no fault of anything to do with the estate agents, Kingswood were supportive throughout. I couldn’t have been more grateful for the service we’ve received when I collected the keys to our new home yesterday!

Disgusting agency and people. Used my vulnerable situation to leech off of me and rip me off. Their contracts are shady and fishy, signing one of them was a very poor decision. Never trust them or sign anything! Avoid at all cost! They would never bother with fixing anything just so at the end they could blame all that on me. My property was in such bad state and the common areas stank a lot. I just can’t believe there are any good reviews about them, truly mind blowing.

I am happy to have a dealing with Kingswood to get a rental flat. It's too good to communicate with Ajay Patel as he had clarified all my quires and concerns.

leaving one star because I have to. Scheduled a viewing for a property at the agreed price on the rental listing, agent verbally agreed the price and all was good. However a few days later I notice the price changed, so I rang them to ask, they said it was a listing error. I checked again this morning and the price increased by quite a lot more. I gave them a ring and was told that it was a technical issue and they had to pass it to the technical team... biggest load of nonsense I've ever heard. I think we've dodged a Bullet by not renting with this agency, They don't care about about tenants or prospective tenants, I understand that its a business , but you guys should be ashamed of yourselves.
