Having purchased over 70 items from King of Steel Media in the last three years, I can confidently say they are a top-tier retailer for premium physical media. My experience has been consistently excellent, making them my go to for all premium retailer purchases. I’ve been able to build a fantastic relationship with them over the years and hope for many more positive purchases.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!! Received items in the past but had to message several times to get them. Even if you pay for one item's shipping, it's sent with other items several months later...most likely pocketing the extra shipping. However, the past 2 years have been a NIGHTMARE. I am out hundreds USD due to never receiving items I was told were available, and he won't be stand-up and refund, even after SEVERAL messages and promising I'd get my money back. Considering making complaints to UK gov on this one man show pretending to be a company. YOU'RE FIRED, KOSM!!!

Liar and a scammer. Steals money and does not ship products, do not risk your money with this fraud.

Has the audacity to send out an email asking for a 7th chance and can’t contemplate their actions have caught up with them. Always the victim…

This guy is trying but a one man operation was always going to struggle with the huge demand for these products. Even if things ran smoothly it would be hard to keep up but once queries and disputes start stacking up the operation grinds to a halt unless you employ more help. Anyway I'm taking a punt as the site is closing...

Continually shifts blame rather than just accepting responsibility for not delivering people's items. Also uses the excuse that he's doing everything single-handedly (despite always referring to himself as "we" and claiming another company now runs his eBay sales), which many others also do but with no such problems. He'd prefer to spam your inbox promoting his 2-minute sales rather than respond to genuine order concerns. Now he's clearly getting desperate and actually bothering to send out a select few items to certain people, using it as an opportunity to ask them to leave positive reviews in an attempt to "regain trust" and convince others he's changed, since he's understandably struggling to sell anything nowadays. He's made his bed as far as I'm concerned.

Sidenote: He's shut down KOSM and rebranded as CreativePlus. I wonder why!?

Great Premium editions for sale which I've had several. It appears kosm as had issues fulfilling customer orders in the past (see other reviews), and my first eBay experience with them wasn't great if I'm being honest, but since then I've had no issues and have made several purchases which I have received, some pre-orders are still outstanding which I have no doubt will be fulfilled once released, and Michael is working hard to get back on track, and as just launched an exciting new edition on his Creative Plus label, Wayne's World, which looks fantastic. I wish kosm all the best, and look forward to more fantastic premium editions in the future.

Superb site that has enabled me to get overseas Limited Editions I otherwise wouldn't be able to get. Everything I have purchased has been superbly packaged and arrived undamaged. Yes they can take a couple of months to arrive but this is a one man business. Patience is the key. Outstanding.

Absolut nightmare… Collects money and all he does is sending out hundreds of mails with a „Save 50 % here and here and here…“

Thank god I was able to cancel the Pre Order of Last Samurai, still no progress there and it’s over 2 years ago…

I have been using KOSM for several years. Being an Irish customer & since Brexit, I really struggled to get access to Premium Steelbooks & releases. in comes KOSM to the rescue. They get access to literally every new release & often at better prices. There are some very unfair reviews up here about the company but in my extensive experience (ordered roughly 60 items) Mike always comes through (even when some of these premium companies are notorious with their releases missing planned dates etc). Give them a go, you won't regret it

Terrible, horrible experience. Signed up and paid for the membership to get cheaper shipping and prices, then purchased two items which never came. Spent months trying to contact and give kings of steel the benefit of the doubt but the refund never came. Had to file a credit card dispute. Not trustworthy, do not purchase!

I was like some of the other reviewers here, but I gotta be fair and say that right when I basically gave up on KOSM, to the point of writing crap in YouTube comments, he contacted me on Facebook, where we last texted about possible replacements for MantaLab preorders. Back then I've decided to go 'meet him halfway' so to say, not ask for money back, but swap for something I'll need anyway. That was the UHDClub Mission Impossible wooden boxsets, two, for myself and a friend.

Well he actually sent me those last month, a 5kg package has arrived!

He still owes a lot more, and I'm now changing this to "2 stars", because if you look at all the 5 star reviews, they all appeared on the same date, August 24th 2025, when he tried to buy himself some positive feedback by sending something to all those people.
The following text is now obviously not applicable, because a year later, and he didn't do anything else for anyone, just more delays and empty promises.

Previous text: "he started making things right, he wants to restore his reputation, and I truly hope he does manage to do it eventually. Because before all this, he did successfully deliver dozens of orders, that's why I got stuck with multiple preorders with him, because he earned my trust initially."

Avoid like the plague ,pre ordered Beetlejuice steelbook nearly a year ago,answering no messages ,can't get a refund cause I didn't use PayPal, total scam ,ripping of fans,please avoid

Well what can I say. I am usually so switched on with sites, however, I was dupped with this placing two preorders.
I originally purchased The Substance on preorder and then shortly after 007 Sean Connery Steelbook box set.

Towards the end of May I got suspicious as I hadn't received The Substance as I had seen the boxset had been released and many were on Ebay at £200+

Going back onto the website I noticed there was no email address and no contact number for Kingofsteelmedia.

I opened up live chat, in fact it isn't live, its a chatbot. It just kept coming up with 'due to sickness dispatch is 4-7 weeks behind'

I thought this odd as I was receiving promotion emails from them, updates on their website as well as social media.

I eventually found their email kingofsteelmedia at gmail dot com

However, of course, there was no reply to my requests.

I opened up a dispute for The Substance with PayPal, amazingly, PayPal issued an immediate refund which suggested it isn't a first request, usually it would take a few days for their resolution centre.

I have now requested a refund through Mastercard for a refund of £99 for the 007 boxset.
I should have known better when a prerelease (007) is £25 cheaper than anywhere else on the net.

Lesson certainly learnt.

Avoid! Terrible experience. Placed an order online with KOSM (also moviecrate, prestigeboxsets on eBay & creativeplus.shop & probably others) in December 2024. By March 2025 there was still no sign of my order despite several emails promising imminent delivery. Seller wouldn't issue refund. In the end had to get my bank to refund me. Will never use again.

Placed an order 7 months ago and still no sign of it. Will not respond to any emails. Had to contact trading standards.AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!

Like so many others here, ordered in January and still not received. Does not communicate but just takes your money and runs. An absolute scammer - avoid!

Shamble !Placed an order last October for an order direct on there website .Still awaiting delivery,Seller sent out 2 short unhelpful emails for my initial query but has now stopped responding all together .I had placed orders with the seller direct about 2 years ago with no issues I have no idea what has happened to the service since then .From what I can gather the eBay reviews seem ok when buying through eBay but there is no service when buying direct from their own website .the sites name has now changed to creative plus .i am trying to arrange a refund direct from my credit card company as I cannot get a response direct from seller about cancellation or a delivery update .

Ordered Apocalypse Now 4k Steelbook & received nothing but excuses! Seller is not fit to run a business! Only ever replied to one single email questioning its whereabouts and that was with excuses! Seller also blocks all contact regarding order enquiries across all internet platforms he operates or advertises through! Appears to be selling under several alias on selling platforms probably because of such a bad reputation & untrustworthiness!

He's now operating under the name MovieCrate on eBay, claiming it's a business partner handling sales for KOSM. Same with CreativePlus on Facebook. It's all him, so avoid!
