From the first step on the trail to the unforgettable moment we stood on the summit, we felt supported, protected, and inspired. The mountain tested us with freezing nights, steep climbs, and thin air — but our guides never stopped motivating us. Their energy, confidence, and experience gave us the strength to push beyond our limits.

On summit night, when every step felt like a challenge, they encouraged us with patience, determination, and belief. They knew exactly when to push us and when to slow the pace. Thanks to them, we reached Uhuru Peak with tears in our eyes and a deep sense of accomplishment.

The entire crew was phenomenal. The porters worked tirelessly, always smiling, and the meals prepared at high altitude were nothing short of impressive. Every detail was handled with professionalism and heart.

This was more than just a climb — it was a life-changing journey. We are endlessly grateful to this amazing team for guiding us safely to the Roof of Africa.

Great trip to climb Kilamanjaro and Safari with Tim and Kilamanjaro Bucketlist. Treated us like family.

Short version: WONDERFUL
Long version: Hi fellow trekkers and climbers! I met Tim and discovered the company a few years ago, as I was back from Nepal, looking for a new adventure to live, a new culture to discover. I had to wait a bit to travel again after covid, but I still had the goal in mind and suddenly I had a crazy idea; climbing Kilimanjaro on the exact date of my 30th birthday. I naturally contacted the team and they said yes with no hesitation!
Once I got there, since I choose not to ask too many questions prior to the trip to enjoy it even more, I got surprised (and it's not even enough to describe it) by the level of professionalism, safety, comfort and kindness demonstrated by the whole team. I didn't know so many people were involved in an ascent, I was a solo female traveler and I never felt safer than with my 9 brothers of the trip. They are strong, brave and so, SO nice. The porters, the chef (with oh so delicious food, yum), the guides, everyone involved was absolutely amazing. They really want you to feel you're home, there's no issues at all on anything, you can talk to them of anything, they make sure you're feeling good at all times!
I got sick on the very night of the final ascent because I failed to sleep before and got stomach issues and that's where it became even clearer. My guides became my guardian angels and if I summited that's because of them, Tim, Hussein. First they helped me while I was clearly not in my best state, then took my hands to help me on the final meters to Stella Point, reassured me, believed in me. They also surprised me at Uhuru Peak with an unexpected celebration there, just seconds after we made it on top of Africa!
I was in tears and I promise it was 100% happiness.
We had rain the whole trek because my birthday is unfortunately during rain season (as you can see they are brave and crazy enough to accept to be wet all day long for you) but as we said rainy trek happy trek. We ate the trails together and I was lucky to be surrounded by professionals like them.

Asante sana to the whole team and the people involved into making our dreams come true. 🥹 I will forever be grateful!

I recommend them a 100% and will definitely come back as soon as possible to take my revenge on my bad stomach during the summit push, and to enjoy a safari after!

My husband and I had the most amazing safari trip for our honeymoon. Tim was incredibly communicative and helpful throughout the booking process ans answered all our queries and concerns. On arrival in Tanzania absolutely every detail was thought of, which meant we could truly relax in peace.... we were greeted for our airport transfer with a huge bouqet of honeymoon roses, the hotels booked throughout the trip were all beautiful with delicious food, whilst our safari guides were incredibly informative and friendly. Thanks to the keen eyes of our guides we were fortunate to see 4 of the big 5 during our 3 day safari. Our trip was truly unforgettable, and we are so grateful to Tim and his team (in particular Godlisten and Dommy) for giving us the holiday of a listen - we hope to one day return to Tanzania for another safari!

We did the Lemosho route with Kilimanjaro Bucket List Expedition, and it was one of the best trips I’ve ever had. Tim Zac was incredible — from answering our questions before the trip, welcoming us in Arusha, guiding us to the summit, taking us on safari, and even seeing us off at the airport. The team was professional, the guides and cooks (especially Sam and his crew) were top-notch, and everything ran smoothly. By the end, it felt like we had family in Tanzania. Highly recommend Tim and his team!

We had a great experience with Kilimanjaro Bucketlist team. We did both Kilimanjaro hike ( 8 days Lemosho route) and 5 days of wildlife safari at Serengeti and other national parks in Tanzania. We are very Happy with the arrangements and facilities provided by the company.

Just came from a Tanzania in a 6 days magical safari to the big 5. Kilimanjaro Bucketlist Expedition fully satisfied our first visit to Africa. Comfortable car, drinks, snacks at will and nothing out of place. Jastin then was an impeccable guide, he showed us all the possible animals including Leopards, lion rhino, not so easy to find.
The excellent accommodations, pleasant picnics, safe driving and the organization of travel definitely makes us want to recommend it to friends and family. Safari of a lifetime experience
