KE Adventure Travel Omdömen 

I was recommended KE Adventures by friends more than once. My experience lived up to my expectations. This was my first such holiday and can’t imagine how in any way it could’ve been better.

Outstanding trip despite worst weather our guide of 27 years experience had ever seen! Wet, cold, soggy yet always well looked after, well fed, felt safe and learnt about our incredible surroundings as we trekked. Plentiful food and guides/porters who were warm and friendly and always helpful. Their expertise and enthusiasm, whilst at all times respecting the potential pitfalls of the environment we were in, helped us to successfully summit with memories that will last a lifetime.

Great leader and support team, good food and weather and very friendly local people. It's an interesting part of the world. The mountains are almost all single volcanoes with forest almost to the top, so there are no dramatic ridge walks and the scenery in general does match that of some other mountain ranges of the world. But you do get close to erupting volcanoes, which is spectacular. And the weather in January is great, at a time of year which many other mountain ranges are not suitable for trekking.

I have just returned from climbing Kilimanjaro on the 8 day Lemosho route with a 4 day Zanzibar extension.

This was an absolutely brilliant trip; I won't say it was easy but the sense of achievement on reaching Uhuru Peak gave me a buzz for days! I still can't believe I did it!

The guide Emmanuel, the assistant guides and all the crew were magnificent. Always encouraging, nothing was too much trouble for them and their attention to our safety and welfare was exemplary.

As a coeliac I was concerned about food but my fears were groundless as the cooks were brilliant and fed me very well. KE even organised GF meals on the flights.

The Zanzibar extension was 'just what the doctor ordered' and the Kasha Boutique hotel where we stayed was a wonderfully luxurious end to our trip.

The hotel manager was fantastic. He organised a boat trip, tour round a village, trip to a spice farm on the way to Stone Town where we had a very good guide[and all at a very reasonable cost]

I would recommend this trip without reservation. It is certainly one I won't forget.

Just returned from the Simien Mountains & Lalibela trip in Ethiopia. The trip was everything KE promised and more. Helpful website and professional arrangements were followed up with a great local tour leader. Would definitely recommend KE and will be using again.

We have had several trips with KE, including Patagonia, Ethiopia, Bhutan, Morocco, Finland, tenerife. All been well organised, well run, and great experiences.
We will be using them again without doubt.

This was the first time that I have used KE Adventure travel and I must say I would definitely use them again for any future adventure holiday plans. I have just come back from climbing the 8 day Lemosho route up Mount Kilimanjaro and then a 4 day extension to Zanzibar. The team they had on the ground that looked after me for the 8 days I was on the mountain was exceptional.
In my opinion, we had excellent guides and assistant guides and a team of porters/ cooks that were amazing and without them I can guarantee my experience wouldn’t have been so enjoyable.
In the 8 days on the mountain I have laughed, cried, been supported and encouraged by these amazing people and not once felt that I was not getting a first class service from them. I am amazed on the quality of the food we received considering it was cooked in a small tent up the mountain. I would also like to add that on a number of occasions the team went the extra mile to help me in my journey to reach the summit.
Secondly I also wanted to say what an enjoyable stay I had at the Kasha Boutique Hotel in Zanzibar. The manager of the hotel, runs a great establishment and couldn’t be more helpful. It was a relaxing stay in Zanzibar in an idyllic setting with the opportunity to go and do a number of day trips, which the hotel with organise at extremely reasonable prices, I would highly recommend the Kasha.
Overall it was one amazing trip with memories to last a lifetime.

We have just returned from the Hoi An to Angkor Wat cycle discovery tour which we called the Ride of a Thousand Hellos. Vietnam and Cambodia are amazing countries and touring by bike is a superb way to meet the people who are so friendly and welcoming and experience the culture.

Our guides and drivers were friendly and worked so hard on our behalf. The food was superb and the accommodation was generally excellent. The biking was varied and very enjoyable.

Just returned from a winter Finland trip. Booking was easy and the whole process well organised. A great trip was had by all, with a fantastic local guide who always had a smile on her face and nothing was ever too much. Lots of new winter skills were learned, with great accommodation and food too!

I can't fault KE. They were slick and efficient from the start, have great staff, loads of trips of which our Finland winter adventure was amazing. Lots packed in and some great memories. Our guide was outstanding, cabins were perfect and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff.

Just got back from Kilimanjaro having done the 8 day Lemosho route.
All we had to do was climb the mountain, while having an incredible team of 39 Tanzanians looking after us!
It was humbling to see how hard they all worked to look after us and give us the best chance possible of reaching the top.
Everyone, without exception, was hard working, kind and professional, they were also cheerful and a delight to be around. They delighted us with their singing and dancing and used their songs to encourage us when the going got tough.
The Team Leader, Emanuel Mbaya was fantastic, he couldn't have been better.
He was always very professional but friendly, and it was clear our health safety was paramount; we all trusted his completely. He, and the other guides worked so hard to look after us, and couldn't have been more caring, going above and beyond time after time.
