A ÂŁ250 deposit is taken and kept byâŠ
A ÂŁ250 deposit is taken and kept by this company for 7 days. I changed my payment method as a consequence but they still took the deposit from my current account without any warning or opportunity to discuss. I will not use again. EDIT: AFTER I changed the payment method to a credit card they STILL took the deposit from my current account without contacting me. I didn't 'misunderstand' or miss anything. Karshare on the other hand......

This is communicated in the booking process and on the emails sent in the lead up to the rental, but we understand how it could be missed. Please know that your deposit will be back with you within 7 working days unless there is any damage that needs inspecting.
It's worth knowing that the deposit rates we offer are dynamic, so your deposit amount may reduce to ÂŁ49 in future the more you rent with us/achieve a high driving score. Please do let us know if you have any further questions and we're happy to answer!

Absolutely shocking service
UPDATE: I eventually received a response and my money back after a couple weeks and payment for missing petrol and phone wire. But Iâm now being questioned as renter is saying they replaced the tyre even though it was flat when I arrived and the exact same tyre as I got when I bought the car new.. and theyâre (renter) apparently saying there wasnât a wheelnut (untrue) but they changed the tyre magically.. so received all compensation in the end but personally the stress and time it took to be dealt with wasnât really worth the ÂŁ100 I got (which included to make up for petrol and car needing to be cleaned etc)
Absolutely shocking service. I am a car owner and the first time my car was rented out it was returned with a flat tire, they lied about how many miles they did, they lied about what petrol was left in the car and stole my iPhone wire, I contacted Karshare as soon as possible And let them know about all of this. They told me I needed to pay for the tire to be replaced which cost me over ÂŁ200 (and took 3 hours out of my working day to be sorted) and once Iâve sent the invoice they would process the payment for me. Itâs been four days now and my emails are getting ignored. Iâve sent numerous emails. Tried to call spoke on live chat sent over the invoice more than once and still havenât received any confirmation that the payment is being made, Iâm now out of pocket because of this company and the way they have treated me has been disgusting. I have bills coming out of my account that I am now concerned wonât be able to be paid because this company will not give me my money back. They havenât even dealt with all of the issues at hand and are continuing to just ignore me, would not recommend using this company to anybody, I massively regret ever signing up.

I rented a Range Rover from them couple days ago and Iâll be back to rent it again everything went smoothly bar them giving me 75/100 overall driving rating when I think I should of got 100/100 the back seat of the car wasnât clean but other than that everything was cool customer service helped me and was quick to answer. Accessing and return the
Vehicle was simple, I had no problem with either. I also received my deposit within two working days. I would recommend Karshare and I will be using them again.

Very convenient
Great service...easy apart from when your battery on phone dies as it uses the App...give the key as well just in case...if you did wud giv 5 star. Easier than other main stream rentals as you can return anytime on weekends.
