Did FREC 3 under K2I at start of year and back last week for FREC 4. Great instruction and week provided by Michael & Gemma, really enjoyed it and even though quite a bit to take in, I’m more than confident to use these skills in the real world. Also great to see progress of layout & equipment between FREC 3 and 4 courses. Went out of way to explain things in great detail and able to answer all questions fired at them.

Not a criticism but handouts with pictures of equipment with names beside each to help remember them would help massively and also crib cards to follow for those going into frontline rolls.

Completed my FREC4 today. Excellent venue and great training equipment. I have completed lots of pre hospital courses before, but This was by far the best yet. I will certainly be attending further courses with this company.

Like many others, I was initially very nervous about my FREC 3 qualification training. Thankfully Michael and Karl made me feel in safe hands from our very first meeting. They made the training fun, relevant and with real life scenarios.

Both Michael and Karl were straight talking, knowledgable and challenged my way of thinking, offering ideas and insights i hadnt considered. What should have been a daunting experience became an exciting journey. I completed the course feeling inspired and eager to enrol in other course Michael runs.

The course content is well-structured and provides a solid foundation in pre hospital emergencies. Working through realistic emergencys in lone and team situations ensured that I not only understood the theory but was also able to respond effectively under pressure.

I would highly recommend K2I-EOC for all Medic training.

Michael is an amazing instructor could not recommend any one better his course are amazing and his knowledge is unreal i really recommend to anyone who needs medical experience or looking a job as a nurse or any role on an ambulance or even skills before becoming a doctor.

I have just completed the taught portion of the FREC5 course with K2i. It’s a tough course, certainly a step up from the FREC4. Everyone on the course had to work hard but our efforts were matched and bettered by the determination and commitment the course leaders, Gemma and Michael Kidd. Every challenge of content, skills, understanding, analysis, judgement, best practice etc. was addressed head-on by the tutors - and with passion, determination and fabulous good humour. Without retreating an inch from the high standards required by the FREC 5 Validating Body they adjusted their training to meet the needs of the group.

I suppose I have only two small concerns about having attended this course. Firstly, K2i’s practical, realistic scenario based, problem solving delivery method has spoilt me and I will find it very hard to every again endure a typical PowerPoint dominated training course. And secondly, I am a little guilty about the provision of the NIAS paramedic services over the past few weeks, because I am certain that possibly the best paramedics in the country weren’t treating the sick, they were training us.

First class training and lecturing , highly recommended for all pre hospital training, Michael and Gemma are fantastic teachers and the materials and units they use to teach are of the best quality .

Without doubt the best medical course I have done across multiple sectors. Michael Kidd at K2 International delivered the course to an exceptional standard, combining current, operationally relevant medical content with a training environment that prioritised realism and practical application. His depth of knowledge and delivery style were first class. Highly recommended.

Michael the instructor was very attuned to different learning styles and a really fun instructor to work with. A 5 day intensive was made to feel accomodating, productive and motivating. I would certainly recommend if you're considering leveling up your first aid

Superlatives apart how best to evidence that a training organisation is good at its job? Well I suppose there's the repeat customers measure. Probably half of us who were gathered around dissecting hearts or drawing up sample drugs on my FREC4 course had attended previous K2i courses. For a company that's only being going for just over a year that's an endorsement of the trainers, the equipment, the approach, and the effectiveness of their product.

Another measure might be that of the 7 candidates who attended my recent course only one was a corporate booking, so 6 hard working, non-sponsored, not rich individuals believed it worth vesting their own money in the competence of K2i training - none of us were disappointed.

It is certain that the real beneficiaries of the money I spent on K2i training will be the crash victims, the broken hipped pensioners, the chest clutching shoppers and the feverish babies I might attend (and of course some number of drunks, rioters and benefit chancers but we don't judge, we just treat).

If you are going to train in out of hospital care. Train with K2i, it is not a decision you will ever have any cause to regret.

The instructors knowledge and training environment was excellent, for an intensive course all subjects thought came across clear and concise, I will be using K2 for future medical training.

Couldn’t recommend this course enough. From start to finish the whole team were absolutely amazing. Michael and Gemma have this course down to a T. The two instructors all week Gemma and Alan (Al) were nothing short of amazing. The moment you stepped into that class you felt at ease as they are the most lighthearted and friendly people you will ever meet. They made this course so enjoyable and it’s sad to see this week come to an end. I have came out of this class more confident and most importantly with so much more knowledge which in my opinion feel that everybody should have this course behind them for day to day life. I had an absolute brilliant week and I cannot wait to continue with K2 for future courses. P.s if you get the chance to meet their dog Reuben count yourselves lucky :)
