There are evidences on the website to not trust. First of all, the U.S. phone number doesn't work. The Live Chat doesn't work. Also, I don't think they have a warehouse in New York since the address just takes Google maps to a home. I don't think this is an official Joyor website since the official ones are joyorescooter.com and joyorscooter.com (without the s in the end and for Europe). However, joyorescooter.com said joyorscooters.com is one of their distributors. On these two legit websites, there are actual reviews. In fact, back in 2020, I thought I saw a few 5 star reviews on Joyorscooters.com and they could have removed it. Also, customer service isn't great. They don't respond to every email. It's hard to tell if it's a scam because some customers have good and some have bad experiences. They do ship out products but just to be on the safe side, look elsewhere.

Update: It is now joyormall.com but still avoid it. Also, their email address is
support @ website domain (can't post email).

Horrible Company. Not sure if its a scam because I have seen some other reviews but in my experience I would say they are not a legitimate company. After ordering a scooter they emailed me a couple days later saying it was out of stock. I replied to just cancel the order and refund my money which they were not suppose to receive from PayPal until the order shipped. Now they will not refund me or return my emails. I had to file a claim through PayPal that could take 30 days to get my money back. The initial email was very bad translation as well. You are dealing directly with a Chinese company in China. Stick with an American based company so if you need to speak to someone you can.

The scooter worked for 5 days then completely stopped. Could not get a single person to refund or exchange me. What a waste of $700. DO NOT BUY FROM JOYOR EVER!

While riding my Joyor scooter at around 20 mph it collapsed on me. The front end started folding down and I started weaving from side to side as I tried to hold the front end up and keep it from collapsing.

I was wearing a helmet, but unfortunately crashed jaw first into the cement pavement resulting in a fractured hand, fractured teeth, and various stitches. I am looking at months of recovery.

I had double checked that the scooter was locked into place prior to riding it that day. At this point, I am just grateful that I was the one riding it and not my 12-year-old son.

I ordered a scooter from Joyorscooters.com for $800 and the money was immediately taken from my account. I was told that I would receive my order in 3-5 days because there is a factory in California. I waited for over a month and nothing was ever shipped. I emailed them 6 times and was completely ignored. I eventually filed a complaint through PayPal and the seller gave them a different shipping number then what they gave me, and said that it was already delivered. I tracked the newly provided shipping number and also called UPS for more information. They gave PayPal SOMEONE ELSE'S order number and tried to say that it was mine. Different shipping address, name, and shipping weight. The seller refused to refund my money through PayPal and also continued to ignore me. I finally got a hold of Joyorscooters.com through their Whatsapp number and the guy that answered had broken English. He was very rude and would not answer any of my questions or agree to a refund. I finally filed a fraudulent report through my bank and got my money back. To sum up my experience, Joyorscooters.com took my money, never sent anything, and then provided a false shipping number to PayPal in an attempt to keep my money. After many hours of explaining things over the phone to various people at both PayPal and my bank, I finally got my money back. The whole process was a huge frustration and complete waste of my time. Joyorscooters.com is terrible and very clearly a scam!!!

I see that one person had a bad experience with joyorscooters.com. But i orderered a scooter from this site on June 23rd and my order was stuck on waiting to be fufilled for about a week. But as we speak i recieved an email with a tracking number saying that my scooter is being shipped..You just have to be patient. Its summer and scooters are in high demand, and Joyer scooters factory is located in China but they have U.S distributors.. Sometimes they are out of stock and have to ship from China to the united states warehouses. Which takes time.. joyorscooters.com is not a scam site. i emailed their support and they responded in ONE day, and did exactly what they said they would, which was get my my scooter shipped as soon as possible.. These guys are legit. Trust me.

Since then, I didn't receive any refund and they stopped replying my emails. The call center never picks up. The live chat stops talking after I tell them what's wrong.
