Multiple "mystery gifts" not delivered. Then suddenly another charge for a mystery gift also not delivered. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

If I could give this no stars I would.

I got scammed after purchasing something from this website. They took money from my account weeks later for nothing. Completely unauthorised payment. No idea how they did this!!

Do not use.

Ordered four lights in August, they were late to arrive but received an apologetic email for lateness...okay, no problem, I appreciated an update. Two lights finally arrived, but the wrong colour. Went back to them by email, no response to repeated emails and discovered by googling the bad reviews given by other customers here on Trustpilot and elsewhere that I've been scammed. Checked my credit card statement today and just discovered another payment taken out which has prompted me to join Trustpilot to leave this review as a warning for others! Going to have to try to get a refund from my credit card provider now - I advise no one to use this company.

TOTAL THIEVES. Paid for and received a bath mat to replace one from them that needed refreshing after 2 years. Received it & this one won’t stick down ie it is dangerous. Now a couple of months later I get billed again, out-of-the-blue, & they won’t (repeatedly) answer their own allocated case # 5037. Scam artists to be avoided at all costs.

Scam. Do not order. If I could leave zero stars I would. Luckily my bank was able to claim my money back

SCAM. Paid too much for a bathroom rug that never arrived. They sent me photographic evidence of the package in a delivery pile at the wrong building, about five blocks away from mine.

They refuse to give me a refund and told me it was my responsibility to contact their third-party courier and try to track down my package a month after it had been delivered to the wrong address, because it was "not far".

I would give them no stars if I could. The bank said to read reviews before purchasing. They scammed me and now won’t answer emails. Do not buy off them or you won’t get your product? Just money taken out? I had to cancel my card so they wouldn’t do it again.

Scam. Ordered a bread knife which was faulty and they haven't refunded me or replaced it. Then they tried to take another £30 out my account. Bank had to do a fraud refund. Proper scam. Don't order from them

Complete scam. I ordered some leggings, not a subscription and they offered a free mystery gift. The leggings arrived, no extra gift, no worries. Then a month later I got charged £30 for said mystery gift (which also never arrived!). I tried to email them repeatedly about this with no response. Then a month later they kept trying to take another £30, which kept being declined but they try over and over. I’ve had to cancel my card. Total scam avoid!!!!

I bought a hat from this company in July. The hat was good quality. But within a month I noticed a charge from this company for $59 for something I didnt order. They were apologetic and it was sorted out. And a week ago the same charge appeared for the same amount. This time I didnt hear back from them and have to change my card again and started a dispute. Dont buy from them. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time but not this time..

This is a complete scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The projector for my granddaughters birthday never arrived on time and came crushed and doesnt work…I am out TRUST and 55.00 RUN dont WALK away from this dishonest and Scam of a business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be aware scam website . They store your card details & use it to charge randomly .

Ordered my product then waited several weeks without updates unless prompted. Once the products arrived ( which were lights and seem to be good ) the company deducted the same payment without my authorisation - which was finally returned after I reported them to Barclaycard. A second unauthorised payment has also been debited and I have since reported them again.

I also emailed them and surprise, no apology or response

I purchased a lamp in August for £27, following this the company had been charging my bank account £31 per month for no reason.

I emailed them asking them to rectify the situation, they agreed but nothing came of this email and they continued to charge me.

I had to speak to my bank to get a refund and cancel the ‘subscription’ I signed up for.

Do not purchase anything from this company.

Poor communication, slow shopping and sent me the wrong size phone cover. Very disappointing. Don’t waste your time or money!

Scam avoid at all costs !!!! I bought a light from this company and they applied a free gift at checkout, by accepting this free gift they have somehow signed me up to a subscription that I am unable to stop. I have had to cancel my bank card !!!

Do not order from Josh and Tate the product arrived and was ok but no free mystery gift but I wasn’t too bothered. Then a few weeks later a transaction of £31 was taken for a Mystery Gift which I didn’t order or sign up for, I’m still waiting for a response from them.

Thought this was an interesting company with good products
First order very slow in delivery but products ok
Then bombarded with thank you email and free mystery gift offers etc

No response to my emails has been received and I can only advise folks to not purchase from such a devious website

Ordered once with them, got the goods fine although not as good quality as other suppliers. THEN noticed payments for $59 being deducted from my credit card without authorisation for a “mystery gift” and found out this was automatically linked to a subscription which I definitely did not sign up for. No response when I questioned them. Needless to say- no “mystery Gift” ever arrived even with my original purchase, and no refund.

Warning: Repeated unauthorised £31 charges after cancellation

I strongly advise other customers to be extremely cautious when shopping at Josh & Tate.

I purchased a £27 wooden shoehorn, which developed a chipped, rough edge almost immediately. The company refused to provide a prepaid return label for the faulty item and instead offered only a 20% refund.

I was also charged £31 for a so-called “Mystery Gift” advertised as free, which I never received.

On 17 August 2026, Josh & Tate admitted in writing that the £31 charge was a system error. They confirmed that the associated subscription had been cancelled and promised there would be no further charges. After repeated complaints, they finally refunded the £31 in September.

However, on 10 October 2026, another £31 charge appeared on my bank account, despite their written confirmation that the subscription had been cancelled.

I have now had to contact NatWest to stop further payments.

This has been an extremely stressful and unacceptable experience. I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing from this company to be very careful with their payment details.
