Just found the London Store!

When living in Los Angeles I have been collecting Jonathon Adler pieces for over 15 years. I am now living in London and just had my first visit to the London shop. I must say the experience and overall service was exemplary. I had purchased a item and unfortunately when I open the package, a piece was damaged - it was ceramic so it happens. I spoke to Nick over the phone and he could not have been nicer about exchanging this item. While in the shop, I had to restrain myself from buying so many things!
Also, the new boxes that merchandise is packed in - gorgeous!
Looking forward to many more visits!

AVOID

Beautiful Furniture, But Appalling Aftercare and Accountability

I’ve been a loyal Jonathan Adler customer for over 10 years and have spent well over £100,000 with the brand and its resellers, including Sweet Pea & Willow. Sadly, my recent experience has been incredibly disappointing.

I purchased bedroom furniture — two side tables, a bench, and a large cabinet — and within six months the side tables began cracking from the inside. They were replaced, yet the same issue happened again, and now the cabinet has cracked too.

The furniture itself is beautiful, but when you face a problem, they’re simply not interested. My complaint was made within 12 months, and I have proof, yet Jonathan Adler has refused to take responsibility.

It seems much of the furniture is made in the Far East, which may explain why replacements or fixes are difficult — but that’s not the customer’s problem, especially when spending tens of thousands of pounds on “luxury” pieces.

After months of delays and dismissive responses, I’ve spoken with my bank and will be pursuing a Section 75 claim under the Consumer Credit Act 1974. I will not be purchasing from Jonathan Adler again.

No longer a JA Fan

I’ve collected Jonathan Adler furniture for years, and my home is predominantly furnished with their pieces — so it’s especially disappointing to write this review. I ordered a sofa that arrived in an open, poorly taped box, with visible damage and a foot-long tear in the bottom lining of the sofa. It was clearly mishandled and poorly packaged from the start.

The situation was made worse by the lack of urgency or accountability from customer service. I had to follow up multiple times to get a refund, and there was no apology or acknowledgment of the condition the item arrived in.

Even more concerning: while the website sometimes labels certain pieces as “final sale,” the reality is that all furniture is final sale, whether it’s marked that way or not. This policy is not clearly disclosed at checkout and feels intentionally misleading — especially when you’re spending thousands of dollars on large, made-to-order items.

This is not the level of transparency, service, or quality I expect from a brand that markets itself as luxury. After this experience, I’ll be looking at other brands. I no longer trust Jonathan Adler to deliver on their promise of quality or stand behind what they sell.

Initial Purchase? A Raging Success!

This was our very first order with Jonathan Adler recently and it could not have gone better. We were nervous with purchasing a large furniture piece, since things can easily go awry with the freight delivery and possible damages. It did take about two weeks for the freight company to contact us to schedule a delivery date, but that was to be expected as it was clearly outlined on Jonathan Adler’s website. They arrived within the time frame provided. Since it was white glove service, they brought in the furniture and assembled it on-site. Luckily the credenza we’ve purchased did not incur any damages during transit and all components worked properly. I did reach out to Jonathan Adler prior to the delivery to inquire on what we should do in case of damages and the agent was thorough in providing me with the steps to take. I found her to have provided professional customer service to me and for which I appreciated. The credenza was even more beautiful in person and we are absolutely head over heels in love with it whenever we pass by our dining area - it truly elevated our space. The initial purchase with Jonathan Adler has gone so well that we look forward to our next piece(s). Please make more designs soon!
