The imp call-screening system consists of three parts:
imp works with you to assign calls to 1 of 3 lists:
Wanted callers, who imp lets ring through, and where imp can also take a message if you want. These callers make up your Greenlist.
Callers where imp silently takes a message. These callers make up your Greylist.
And unwanted callers, where imp just hangs up on them. This is your Redlist.
With imp, the only calls you get are the calls you want.

We were tired on constant annoying calls on our landline. Imp solved the problem. Our phone rings much less frequently, and then only with callers we have preapproved. Adding telephone numbers to the blocked red list or the approved green list is very easy - and very satisfying. No more calls offering auto warranties! Support from the folks at Imp was prompt and very helpful.

The imp is an amazing device that does just what you want. It screens out all those annoying calls while still letting you know who called and when. The answering machine feature is also great. I was on the other side of the country when I got a notification of a call from my 90 year old mother. Previously, it would have gone unattended on my home answering machine until I returned 3 weeks later. As it was, I listened to the call through the app, got right back to her and helped her deal with a minor emergency.
Great product and service. Tech support has also been great.

Great product!
Great product! Easy setup and installation. Imp quickly captured my contacts and I set the rules for which calls ring through and which go straight to message. I can’t decide which feature I like better, the call blocking or the remote answering machine for my land line I now have on my cell.

Imp has been great for my grandmother's…
Imp has been great for my grandmother's home phone that receives 10-15 spam calls a day. Now she only receives calls from the people she wants to hear from. 5 stars!

Finally... some peace and quiet!
I have had a spectacular experience turning on imp and letting it work its magic. Now when the phone rings i actually "know" it is someone i want to speak with and talking on the phone is once again a joy, rather than feeling my anxiety go way up every time the phone rings. I cannot recommend this enough. I only wish i had it 10 years ago.

Peace and quiet.
I've been using the imp box during the test period for a few months... Love It! My phone is so blissfully quiet, except when someone I want to hear from calls. The first time I'm not dreading election time phone calls in years.
