When I heard about having a fractional CFO I was very sceptical. We had an accountant and why would we need someone from finance. We had sufficient income, reserves, some kind of financial rules to keep the company solvent. Yet, I was intrigued and decided to get in touch. First, they didn't convince me. Honestly, it was rather expensive (more expensive than getting an accountant). Finally, I decided to give it a try. Actually, I was not disappointed. There were a lot of "I will do it later" things in our organization and John Galt's experts cleared it in a month. We have clear register of due invoices, we track our margins and can early spot when they fall for some products. I mean, we have 800+ active products and 200 partners in 120 countries. Tracking margins can be pure pain. Also, we have a clear dashboard with our profits and incomes, track a number of different indicators to notice any issues. Good stuff. We are moving to the next step, where we will be ready to integrate other companies into our organization and it will be a huge challenge. But a lot of fun and with John Galt I believe that we are ready to face it.
