I bought a go chef

I bought a go chef, to use in our caravan a couple of years ago, however, it was never used, still in original packaging, i sorted caravan few months ago, and brought go chef home, as it had never been used.I tried deep fried chips, did it exactly as instructions, supposed to take 20 mins, 40 mins, still not cooked! emailed jml, was told as it was out of the 1yr guarentee, they wouldn't do anything! despite me never using it, I stated that under sale of goods act, it wasn't fit for purpose, & I was entitled to a refund, but they still insisted out of gaurentee, so wouldn't refund. I have lots of jml products, but would never buy any of their products again, disgusting customer (non) service!

Inefficient customer service

Inefficient customer service
from one of their uninterested customer service lady (seemingly aggressive and lazy) /supervisor... A nightmarish experience. Package went missing for almost a month and JML staffs could not trace nor rectify the cause of their delivery issues. Invoice was stated wrong items. Was told that the delivery partner sent my order to the wrong address after pressing for respond. Only God knows! Beating around the mulberry bush jokers! Need to improve on customer service badly.

JML – Callous crooks who compromise on quality and safety

My family bought a JML 8 in 1 Gourmet Chef Cooker. It was delivered on 23 May 2021, and to our surprise, the glass lid had completely shattered inside the box. We quickly called JML customer service who made an exchange on 25 May 2021 for us.

On 7 June 2021, the glass lid on the new cooker shattered again! – this time while my mom was holding it! My mom was covered in glass shards! Glass was all over the kitchen basin and floor. At that time, my mom was not doing anything with the pot – she was just holding it. We immediately made several phone calls to JML customer service, but were met with a series of nonchalant responses. We kept getting transferred across different customer support staff, who were clearly more motivated in pushing the job to someone else, and were in one accord avoiding the issue altogether, hoping that the next customer service officer who answers our calls would take responsibility. I made several calls in the day and evening, but no concrete solutions were given to me that day.

On 8 June 2021, I called again and was greeted by an arrogant representative who refused to identify himself. He was pompous, and paid no attention to what had happened. He discredited my mom’s experience and the danger posed to her. He even tried to convince me that such an incident could not have occurred. He went on to insinuate that we had lied about the incident, and refused to take responsibility for putting my family in danger or for their products.

I will not buy JML products anymore – and I urge you to do the same. In fact, no amount of compensation nor apologies can make up for the traumatic experience my mother suffered - and no one has addressed that hurt dealt to her. They must be held accountable for their negligence.

What if this were your family member? Your child who curiously and innocently touched a pot and it shatters, taking his sight away permanently? Is his health worth just an apology and a simple refund? No it cannot be. Their sheer lack of interest in the safety of their customers and in ensuring that their products are up to par is utterly unacceptable. For the safety of you and your family members – do not buy JML products anymore.

Terrible Customer Services and Incapability to fulfil order

Terrible terrible customer service from JML Singapore. Customer service would not let me finish talking because she is just an operator (her words, not mine) and has many calls to pick up. I asked if she could just give me a min to finish up but she told me not to waste my breath because I will need to repeat when customer service calls me back (She is suppose to be customer service though...). Frustrated that she keeps interrupting me, I raised my voice to ask her to let me complete my sentence and she told me to mind my manners. Where is her manners when she kept cutting me off?

Why sell when you cannot deliver? Ordered 3 pillows but only 2 arrived. Called in within 10 mins of delivery on Thursday but was told that customer service will call me back the next day, which obviously was a lie. Tried to call many times on Friday but the line always disengage after waiting on the line for a while. Called in on Monday and was told off by customer service (above). Guess I paid money to learn a lesson, DO NOT BUY FROM JML.
