Very disappointed after agreeing a sale…

Very disappointed after agreeing a sale of £2400 after telling him everything we knew about the car. Wanted to knock off another £900. A waste of our time.

To fact check yourselves, the sale was based on photos you uploaded to motorway, photos which were clearly taken at certain angles to hide damage. I called you before leaving and asked if there were any oil leaks, oil cap gunk, marks on the bodywork, as I explained it would take 3+ hours to get to yourselves.

You assured me everything was in order and perfect. Upon inspection of the vehicle, this was not the case, rocker cover leaking, gunk in the oil cap, multiple faults on the diagnostic tool, multiple stone chips on the bonnet, scratches to the rear bumper. You were both present when I appraised the vehicle and saw first hand.

You mislead us and tried to con us. We infact offered you £2200, £200 less not £900 less. Which I believe is very fair considering the amount of work that would need to go into the vehicle.

You were unwilling to negotiate, despite seeing first hand the issues with vehicle that were not disclosed.

I have photos of the issues found during the diagnostic & inspection, which I will be reporting back to motorway, in the hope someone else doesn’t have their time and money wasted.

A rare find …

We recently bought our daughter's first car from Josh, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Josh was an absolute pleasure to deal with—professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. The motor trade definitely needs more people like him. He was incredibly reassuring throughout the entire viewing and sale process, making us feel confident and comfortable every step of the way. We couldn't be happier with the purchase and the level of service Josh provided. Highly recommend!

Great experience!

Bought a VW golf from JLP motors yesterday and I am extremely happy with my purchase, the car is exactly as described and runs perfectly, Josh was very transparent and helpful throughout the whole process and even delivered the car to my house for free.

OVER THE MOON!!

An absolute pleasure dealing with Josh, the whole process was so smooth and hassle free. This was my very first ever car purchase, everything was explained so well to me, the car was exactly as described, this definitely will not be my last car from JLP Motors. I look forward to building a relationship with this company. 100% would highly recommend!!

JLP Motors found the perfect daily car for me, from the first conversation to the key collection, the service was impeccable, the professional, informative and polite approach to the entire procedure is very rare and good customer service along with the “willing to go the extra mile” makes all the difference! Will definitely will coming back for my next vehicle
