Very busy and no guidance online or otherwise as to how to use or operate the equipment.

Thank you for leaving us a review. Inductions are not compulsory, so you are free to start using the gym immediately after joining if you feel happy to do so.
We absolutely do offer them though, so If you would like an induction, please get in touch with your gym directly and a member of the team can help arrange this for you. You can email the manager on salford@jdgyms.co.uk or speak to a member of staff next time you are in.

Tried to cancel my membership to be met…
Tried to cancel my membership to be met with an email saying the request had been received but not confirmed. I then froze the membership to give them time to process the cancellation but payments have kept being taken. This is 3 months on and when you try to call the number, you are met with wait times of 63 minutes, 43 minutes and 37 minutes with no answer.
Is it even possible to cancel?

Amazing Deco, Sauna and Zumba class
Best Gym in Manchester at an affordable price. The studio and decor are very comfortable. U will get to socialize with many different people. Very good value and affordable price.

JD Gyms in Salford offers nice facilities and a clean environment with friendly staff and a good variety of classes. The equipment is well-maintained, making it a decent gym for most needs. However, it can be difficult to reach staff for issues, and there have been concerns about cleanliness in certain areas, particularly the showers at Regent Road. Overall, it's an okay gym, but some improvements could be made.

The gym is good, but…
The gym is good, it has a lot of space and pretty much everything that is needed. However a lot of the equipment is quite old. They also only have 3 squat racks, but they are the worst squat racks I have ever used, I basically have to do a squat just to get the bar on my shoulders because the pins are so badly spaced.

Really nice gym
Really nice gym! I actually first came to see how it was inside and one if the PT kindly showed me around! I instantly love it, there is enough treadmills so that you never run out of empty ones and the workout studios are massive! It is very clean and there is also a Sauna.. so far so good !

Found a real improvement in this gym recently. More exciting classes and passionate PTs which makes a huge difference. Especially enjoyed working with Matt in the boxing classes and really supportive online coaching programme.

Been a member a long time as it's so…
Been a member a long time as it's so close to home, I know lots of the members but not had much great to say about staff as they have never seemed to care much, but over past few months majority of staff have become more approachable, which has made me feel much more at ease in the gym. Special mentions to Peter who's small group Hyrox session I've done & Matt who's boxing I've been to as well. Both really supportive and welcoming. I've been able to meet new members to train with through their small group sessions.
