Great gym. Conveniently situated. Has most of the equipment one could need, but the exercise bikes need repair / upgrading. Good value for money.

Great gym!
Only been at the gym for a couple of weeks but so far so good. Friendly staff and very approachable and helpful. Some of the equipment are worn but in good working order. Plenty to choose from and I haven’t had to wait around to do my work out. The gym has a luxury feel with good decor. Great gym!

I looked around the gym before joining…
I looked around the gym before joining and was impressed by the friendliness of the person who showed me around, the newness and variety of the equipment and the number of classes on the timetable.
I booked an induction after joining and went for my first session at the gym, taking the code I was emailed. When I arrived, I was told I should have downloaded theJD Gym app to use the QR code only entry. After it took a little while to download, the guy on reception grudgingly manually entered my information to allow me access.I felt like I'd been told off.
The instructor who did my induction basically did the same tour around as I'd done before but, when asked, showed me how to use a couple of machines. When I asked about a programme or instructions for the machines to tell me what to use and how to use them, he said I needed to book a personal trainer session. The tour took about 15mins and at the end I was left to get on with it. I looked through YouTube videos to give me a clue what to do. I might book a personal trainer but it wouldn't be the guy who showed me around.
I'm going to try my first class today and I'm sure it will be a much better experience.
I have now attended my first spin class - Theresa was brilliant! Friendly, helped to set up the bike, energising and upbeat throughout!

I rang up and a nice guy went through everything with me and even gave me a day pass that I used to give JD GYM a once over😜 by the time I left I had joined on my phone🎉
Just the start I needed. Ive also done classes with a young girl with green eyes she was friendly and nice .... staff seem friendly. I'll soon be on the way to that HOT GIRL SUMMER BOD😜

Clean, spacious gym with friendly, knowledgeable staff. Lots of parking and excellent opening hours. I'm lucky this is close to me!

Brilliant atmosphere
Brilliant atmosphere, brilliant setup, beautiful machines. Nice changing room, nice colors. I am so happy my wife convinced me to join. I was going to the gym before but that is poop compared to JD gyms. I am very thankful to train here.

I'm very happy with that gym, a lot of equipment here, people actually working out insteed of taking pictures. There is a lot of space for everyone. I would recommend this place to everyone who would like to get fit and healthy

Love jd nottingham as i suffer with body dysmorphic disorder and very bad Anxiety best gym there is for suffers like me manager jimmy him n his staff are the most friendly bunch i was so nervous joining the gym but so glad i did and they have good p/t daniel layzell lost 9st in weight with dan in 12 months working in dan diet and fitness programme great range of equipment easy to use spotlessly clean super value for money i recommend this gym 100%
