Scam company. Their website is already down - redirects to “Caldwell Lighting Company”. Bought 3 shirts. The same shirts with the exact same model pictures are now showing up as “Harper and Wells - Boston”. Basically these are short term drop ship operations out of China, run by DB Duo, a company in Holland. Avoid like the plague.

It took about 4 weeks to arrive with no updates in between. Just a “it’s in the US in transit” for 4 weeks. And oh my god- when I finally opened the package it looks NOTHING like the photos. The “feathered” parts of the dress looked like a Halloween grinch costume. Awful awful and awful. Also it was pricey for what they are selling! I also got a black outfit that looked like a 5 year old sewed it. I’m not sure what the refund policy is but I’m guessing some sort of store credit to get more junk.

I ordered a shirt believing this was a US company based in New York. The product arrived from China, was very poor quality and the wrong size. I tried to initiate a return as instructed and the email bounced back. I’ll be disputing with Amex to get my money back!

I wasn’t going to give this company a good review because I was so unhappy with my order. But, this company listened to my grievances and offered me a second chance to order without returning the items I had. The second order is lovely. Good quality, comfortable and looks very nice on. I have learned I am a large or even XL rather than a M with this company.

The shirts I ordered (oder number 2080)are way too small. I need a refund and a return label.

Took forever to get the product and then came in. It is so cheap and crappy you might as well buy your outfit at Walmart less than 1/3 the price. Chinese garbage pretending to be an American company.

The blue polo smelled really bad it was weird and the zip shirt and shorts are very low quality and very different from the pictures m. I would like to do a return

Bad website with inaccurate advertising. I order shoes size EU 45 and received ones that are clearly size 43-44. Customer service only offered a partial refund despite the fact their website has this mistake. Not to mention the quality of the shoes is atrocious.

I can't wear any . I ordered a large T shirt and what I got could bare fit ..
Secondly the dress shirt has the worst quality..I have to donate it to charity..Very dissatisfied...

Very mis-leading website. My fault for thinking that a company called James New York would be located in China. The items arrived about 30 days after ordering. waded up in a bag. Once opened it was very apparent that the item received was nothing like the pictures on the website. very cheap material and poorly made. I order grey and received cream. Nothing about this experience has been good. I have requested a full refund and am waiting for a response. I do have the items ready to be shipped back provided the company provides a return label and full refund.

I am extremely disappointed with this purchase. The suit I received was nothing like what was advertised. The material is very cheap, and the quality is poor. It appears the product was shipped from overseas, which was not made clear during the purchase process.

I ordered a men’s suit, but what arrived looked and fit more like a women’s suit. The sizing, cut, and overall appearance were completely different from the photos on the website.

I feel like I got a very bad deal and would not recommend buying from this company. They need to be more transparent about where their products come from and accurately represent the quality and style of the items they sell.

They took much too long to receive and when I finally did they weren't comfortable. I wanted to return them but that would have cost me money on return shipping, so they remain in the bag in my closet. Another mistake.

I need to return the jackets and much too small I was sent an email asking for pictures of the jackets. I sent pics a week ago and have not heard anything back since that time and I am looking for a return and full refund.

I ordered a black shirt and it ended up being green. And it was delayed.

The clothing items are labeled and advertised as “linen”. However, none of the 7 items I received were made with a single thread of linen. The quality of the material feels like plastic and the items with tags on them say “polyester” which is a material that should be avoided from wearing on the skin. I’m requesting a full refund for every single item. Very cheap clothes. False advertising. All made in China, which is also why delivery took so long. Company was great at communicating during the delivery delays. However, they lack integrity with what they advertise and what they actually sell. None of the linen clothes are actually linen. If I could post a picture, I would. I emailed the proof to their customer service team.

Took longer to deliver than anticipated. Bigger issue is that the ‘suit’ is basically a tracksuit. Seems extremely cheaply made with bad quality material. Thought I was getting a sharp suit like the pictures but I guess it was made in a sweatshop in China. Kudos to your marketing team I guess.

The company is based out of china, not New York and if you want to return your item you can they do refunds but you will pay the shipping which is probably more or the same amount as your item. The dress I received looked nothing like the advertised photo of the dress. This place is a scam. Beware.

When the dress arrived it did not fit. I immediately contacted the company to start a return. I was told I could only get a store credit, 25% of my purchase price back or return it to China for a 100% refund. This policy should be clearly stated on the site when purchasing the item. I will not buy from this site again.

I cannot believe this company is asking g me for a review. I really wanted to like their products but the dress I ordered in a Medium is more like an extra small. I will never be able to wear it. The sandals I ordered are simple made wrong. The buckle is on the wrong strap. I cannot wear them either. Their return policy is terrible. I will not order again and it is a shame.

I ordered xsmall. Was sent a small. Dress arrived unzipped, so it was probably a returned. Dress was shown as a laced corset-like back. The laces were separated from the dress. Again showing that this was previously tried on and a return from another customer. Quality of fabric and details poor and not representative of pictures.
