I ordered a varsity jacket, and the experience has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. If I could give JacketThreads negative stars, I would. When the jacket arrived, the quality was below expectations—it felt cheaply made, with poor finishing—and it also had a number patch that was not shown in any of the product photos.

When I reached out to customer service to initiate a return, I was initially told I would need to cover approximately $80 in shipping fees. After going back and forth, the company agreed to reimburse the shipping cost if I provided proof of return/receipt—which I did promptly at the end of December.

It is now April, and I have yet to receive any refund. Despite multiple follow-ups, I have received no response. This level of service is unacceptable and reflects a complete lack of accountability. This was a horrible experience marked by misleading product representation, poor product quality, and unresponsive customer service, which frankly lied just to receive their product back. I would not recommend purchasing from this company.

Love my Jacket just got it waited 3+ weeks but worth the wait… I emailed Gwen and she got right back to me with the correct information…. Parcel was well packaged… I’m in London UK

Received my Jacket and I'm very Impressed with the style, I was expecting a regular starter type and received a wool/and leather combined jacket. The originality is excellent for me. They will be my go to when purchasing in the future.

at first, was wary if i'd get what their site showed, but what was received looked better in quality than i expected.
staff were always very responsive which helped a lot & i was given photos before it was sent along with a tracking number.
all in all, i would recommend the site (especially considering quality can be bad with other sellers & some are flat out scams).
in a case like this, if it eases someone's doubts before buying, you can be sure it's a good choice.

Waited months for the product after being blatantly being lied to by customer service or ignored. It finally arrived and it is a cheap jacket with incorrect thread colours used to patch it up, a pocket sewed on the wrong way and inconsistent materials for the lettering. Nothing like advertised. Save yourself and avoid this site.

I ordered a Detroit Tigers jacket with the expectation it was a the brand Majestic. It was put together like something from a third world country. Not only was the zipper on the wrong side, the MLB logo was not authentic. They offered me a refund if I sent it back which cost me $54 since it was sent to Pakistan. Buyer beware very inferior product.

Found this outfitter by accident advertising amazing products at prices that seemed too good to be true. Took a chance and ordered a coat. A few weeks later, it arrived exactly as described on the website.

My experience with JacketThreads was fantastic. Quick shipping, love my jacket, exactly as pictured and fits as expected. Also, the customer service was one of the best I’ve had- quick replies and went above and beyond to help me with FedEx challenges. I will definitely shop here again. Thank you !

I heard nothing from Jacketthreads for over a month—no updates, no tracking, nothing on their site. When I finally asked for an update (I waited because they had a notice when I ordered that they have a high volume of deliveries so expect several weeks of delay), they sent a UPS number showing the item had supposedly been delivered a week earlier.

I pointed out that I’d never received it and that it’s abnormal to get zero shipping notice—since delivery issues must be dealt with on the day, not a week later. They claimed their system had emailed me the tracking link, which was false; I provided screenshots proving I never got it. They ignored that completely and just repeated “UPS shows it delivered.”

Their only “solution” was to request a proof of delivery—something I already had—which lists only “Delivered to PS” in Toronto, with no address, no photo, and no signature. Those aren’t my initials, and I don’t have a concierge.

They’ve taken no ownership or action—just delay, deflection, and repetition. If anything goes wrong, expect zero accountability.

I eventually found the jacket myself. I went to a nearby UPS store and asked if the driver had left it there rather than the address that it was supposed to be delivered to. It was. If I relied on jacketsthreads, I'd still be waiting. I was initially very happy with the jacket. But then I realized that the plastic cover on the faux leather is sews direcly into the material and cannot be simply peeled off. I flagged this and they claim it's for protection. This doesn't make sense to me as the woll was completely exposed and everything I read states that sewing the plastic into the material itself is an obvious manufacturing defect and removing it by hand will damage the material.

BELOW IS MY POINT BY POINT REPLY TO THEIR RESPONSE:

- My review does not misrepresent the situation. I waited over a month with no shipping notice or tracking number. When I finally reached out, you provided tracking showing a “delivery” that had supposedly occurred a week earlier — the first time I even knew it had shipped.

- You claimed UPS had confirmed delivery “to my address and person.” That was false. The proof of delivery you sent listed only “Delivered to: PS,” with no address, no photo, and no signature. I have no concierge, and those are not my initials.

- When you followed up a week later, the new UPS document showed a different delivery date — one week after the original — because the package had been redirected to a UPS Store, not to me. I was the one who figured that out and located it. Had I relied on your repeated claim that it was delivered to me, I would still have no jacket.

- I repeatedly asked to be connected to a supervisor during this process. Every request was ignored.

- Saying you “can only ask UPS” does not remove your responsibility as the merchant. You are responsible for ensuring your customer actually receives the item, for providing shipping updates, and for resolving issues when delivery goes wrong.

- As for the jacket defect: the plastic film sewn directly into the faux leather is not a “protective layer” by any standard I can find. Protective films are used during manufacturing to protect surfaces while cutting or handling, but they are removed before final stitching. They are not sewn through or left in finished garments. Transit protection comes from external packaging, not from sewing plastic into the product.

- If Jacketsthreads believes otherwise, I’m happy to be corrected — but please provide written confirmation that this film is intentionally sewn into the faux leather, along with instructions for how the customer is meant to remove it without damaging the jacket. If that documentation checks out, I’ll gladly update my review to reflect it.

Until then, this remains both a service failure and a quality-control defect that your handling has only made worse.

I had expected a possible delivery time of 2 months and instead received the exact leather jacket I ordered in the correct size and material in 19 days. I was initially concerned at not receiving a tracking number and hoped for the best, this being my first item purchased through Jacketsthreads. They more than met my expectations and in fact provided above average, exceptional service.

Staff were very helpful after a delay in my order ensuring that it arrived promptly and an alternative option was available, the quality of the jacket is superb

Website says 3 to 4 weeks to ship. It been over 3 months, no delivery date. They pushed back the delivery date two different times I Had to cancel the order, called several times to be left on voicemail.Customer service is abysmal.

DO NOT ORDER FROM JACKETSTHREADS. You will be wasting your money and you will be waiting months to get your item. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Order took two months to get, and they finally only shipped it after I disputed the charge with my bank. They sent me email after email guaranteeing that items would arrive on a certain day. Those guarantees never came true. I asked for multiple refunds which were not granted. They told me that they had shipped the package and then they told me that they put the package on hold because I was gonna dispute it with my bank. It goes on and on. Do yourself a major favor and find any place to order what you are looking for. I wouldn’t recommend Jacketsthreads to my worst enemy. I wish I had found the reviews ahead of mine before I ordered.

It's all been a right mess up with fedex but a good company restored itself by sending another out by dx instead and only charging the shipping fee thanks for restoring it £56 down because fedex are thief's

Was supposed to get a Harley Davidson Jacket, and got a jacket that looks like it was made at home. Terrible sewing and made 2 sizes too small. Not real denim looks more like a shirt and not a Jacket. Very thin material. Very cheaply made. Not happy at all.

THIS IS THE WORST WEBSITE EVER!! THE ITEMS YOU RECEIVE LOOK NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES AND THE COLORS AREN'T EVEN THE SAME. THE PATCH WORK ON THE JACKET THAT I RECEIVED AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT IS LIFTING. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NO HELP AT ALL. THEY ARE FRAUDS‼️CHEAPLY MADE JACKET!!
