My overall experience was sufficient (6/10), but there were several aspects that prevented it from being more positive.

1. The consultancy was essentially limited to a one-off phone consultation. When I later needed further discussion and clarification regarding my case, I was asked to pay additional fees. As an existing paying client, I found this approach disappointing and not aligned with my expectations of ongoing support.

2. The agency appeared to rely on a single predefined process and approach. Rather than exploring different possibilities, brainstorming alternative solutions, or assessing other potentially viable routes, the focus was mainly on following a standard procedure. I was expecting a more consultative service, where expertise would be used to evaluate options and provide tailored strategic advice rather than simply directing me through a fixed set of steps.

3. Communication often felt impersonal. Many responses appeared to be generated from standard templates or AI-assisted messages, with limited effort to understand the specifics of my situation. While updates were provided, I felt there was a lack of proactive engagement and problem-solving support that could have helped identify solutions and potentially save time throughout the process.

4. The due diligence conducted on my case was, in my view, insufficient. After reviewing my documentation, the agency gave me the green light to leave the country and proceed with the application process, confirming that everything was ready for submission. However, after months of planning and preparation, it was only discovered once I was already abroad that a previous application was still pending, creating an obstacle to the new application.

This oversight resulted in a one-week delay while overseas, causing additional travel expenses, disruption to my plans, and unnecessary emotional stress due to being away from my family longer than expected. Identifying such an issue should have been part of the preliminary assessment before advising a client to travel. One of the main reasons for engaging a professional immigration consultancy is to avoid exactly these types of procedural mistakes. Unfortunately, this incident significantly undermined my confidence in the quality and thoroughness of the service provided.

For these reasons, while the service was adequate overall, I believe there is considerable room for improvement in terms of due diligence, personalized consultation, communication, and client support.

It's a compass helps me to get my 6-month Visa. They were very patient as I lost my passport and had to get a new one and then they helped me reapply and get the visa. It went pretty quickly and I am very happy. Now I just have to get a flight back to Bangkok

Response time is kinda bad. Sometimes i would not have a response the day I wrote, so its kinda disappointing. Also it takes 1 day of reviewing documents from an additional request which slows things down sometimes.

Otherwise fine, i got my visa approved.

Compass is a very serious company that asks for an incredible amount of documents and then continues to ask for even small explanations if things are not very clear. This is done solely to facilitate the issuing of the Visa. So even if they seem very fussy in the end they do it only to have a positive final result as in my case. They got my visa approved for workation DTV. It seems like a pretty organized effective service.

Got my visa. My situation was not easy. I would not have been able to do it myself.

After a long, complicated and unsatisfying try in my home country they told my to do it in Laos.
It worked perfect and after 10 days I finally had my DTV.
I would have already given up without there help.

The support received for the visa application was excellent.
They really know the embassy processes very well and are able to support properly.
Excellent English communication via chat and phone too.
The app is great too, but I would find it useful if I could still see the content of the documents I uploaded after the upload.

Issa is great at what they do. They answered my questions before I started applying (I even had a short call with them). This made it a lot easier for me to understand the prerequisites for the DTV visa I applied for. I started submitting documents a couple of months after, and again - they made it easy to plan the application. I received the visa in 6 working days.

I found out about Issa Compass through some Facebook groups and decided to give them a try. I downloaded their app, created an account, and everything was super easy to navigate.

I communicated with them through WhatsApp, and they were always friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. I had a lot of questions, and they answered everything in a timely manner while also making sure all my documents were correct before submitting.

I finally got everything together on April 22nd and decided to go with Muay Thai Fever. After I submitted my payment, they got to work on my visa right away. They submitted my application to the LA consulate on April 23rd, and I was approved the very next day on April 24th with no additional documents requested.

Overall, I was really impressed with Issa Compass’s professionalism and how quickly they handled everything. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone applying for the DTV.
