Honestly their quality and designs are all very nice. But they have not practiced good hygiene when delivering items to customers. I ordered a rug on sale. When it arrive, 3days after I found bed bugs all over my house. Of cos I vacuum the carpet right after opening. But this pest are so tiny it’s impossible to detect. But a company so big as Irugs, I expected them to have done a proper hygiene check on the items before sending it out. This has cost me a lot. I am so very disappointed and angry. It has cost me a lot to just get rid of the infestation that came from the rug. Such a shame they had the designs and quality. But failed in hygiene. Which and shouldn be the most important. How could you allow this to happen. Infesting someone’s home like this!

Bought a "natural hand braide jute runner rug" (with a discounted price of S$ 149) on 19th Jul and got the product on 25th Jul 2022 by Fedex - which is not bad at all as it was shipped from US to Singapore.
The horror started when I peeled off the package and it smells dingy. In a glance it looks and smells like an old/used rug, and when I rolled it out open.. the corner of the rugs and the rolled papers are all covered in old and stained molds.
From 1 to 5, i got to give a rating of 1.5 mainly because on-time delivery and product is true as per advertised. But old, smelly, moldy product is unacceptable!
Knowing the return and exchange process will be another pain (from the written review), I choose to keep it and perhaps hire a cleaner to fix the stains and molds (that may cost the same as the rug's price).
Definitely not recommend this brand and not gonna order twice, to avoid another heart stroke 🥵

Not sure why review about this shop on the net is overwhelming negative but my first purchase experience was absolutely a positive one. Bought a solid brown area rug - delivery was speedy, customer service was very helpful and efficient (call centre in the US so American accent) and most importantly the rug is excellent value for money.

We bought 2 small rugs for the office as sort of a test order. We received them both under 2 weeks of the order. The quality of one was great, the other not so good, so we requested for a refund and to send it back. It took some back and forth with the customer service before we were offered the option of keeping the rug (it was going to be for the loo anyway) but with a 25% discount off the next rug, which we needed and have selected. To put our 25% discount into effect, we needed to call the call centre in the US which didn't seem like a good idea as our office is in Singapore. Several emails later, I was asked to purchase the carpet ahead, and email them the order number so they can give us the 25% refund. I came across this website only after I have made payment and was a little freaked out by the number of bad reviews. But fortunately, refund was effected within a few days, and the carpet we chose was delivered under 2 weeks after the order. And more importantly, it was exactly how we thought it would be! I wanted to give a 3-star review but considering how lucky I was in spite of the back and forth with the emails, I decided to give a 4-star review!

I wanted a large area rug to fit under my sectional sofa. What I initially liked about irugs was that they had plenty of patterns in different sizes - or so I thought. Turns out that the design was PRINTED on the rug and scaled up to fit the larger size, skewing and distorting the design so much that it looked nothing like the photo. My 'intricately designed Persian rug' looked like someone had blown up and photocopied the thing at 200%! The pile was shorter than what was pictured and the tassels were nonexistent. The rug is so bad that nobody on Carousell wants to buy it either. You can't even schedule a return because they're not based in SG! They went to great lengths to make you believe you were buying from a local seller which just screams dodgy scam!

we wanted a double tone black carpet and what we got was a completely different product. we feel utterly cheated. there are foot print marks when the carpet is stepped on and a weird white border all around the carpet. the customer service rep mentioned the products are manufactured in china. there are no quality control. Irugs will JUST deliver whatever they have made.

There is no refund or exchange for completely different products. The products are way different from what we had wanted. We wanted black double tone, we got greenish grey and it leaves white footprints all over the carpet when stepped on.

The quality is atrocious for the price we paid

Sending wrong item. Not possible to contact customer service. Replying email with completly wrong information.

Supplied faulty goods and the seller won't refund without returning the item to the USA at my expense. Returns cost from £47.00 - £188.00 for a rug costing £129.00. The seller is not in the UK as suggested by their website. Basically its a scammer getting rid of faulty goods.
If you are having a problem with this company you need to speak to you bank/ credit card and inform them what has happened. I would recommend pointing them to this review page on Trustpilot.
I would also recommend filing a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission. They can be found from a google search. I hope this helps others scammed by this company.

Bought 6 rugs from iRug
4 are ok. 1 is average and 1 is rubbish

I bought an area rug from Irugs.com.sg. I was expecting a decent quality product but when it arrived it is of very poor quality and their pictures do not represent the actual products they shop.

Be extremely aware that the rug is much thinner than the one in their pictures and pile is much shorter. You can NOT return it locally and the shipment back to the U.S or Switzerland will cost you as much as the price of the rug itself. Avoid this company altogether.

Avoid at all cost!!!!
Terrible quality of rug!
I wanted to return the rug and get an address in Switzerland as the closest address to return to, even though I thought I am ordering from Singapore. Cost to return is stated as 250$ which is roughly 80% of the cost of the rug.
Reading the reviews I will not do that as others say even when you return the rug you don't get a refund!!
