Excellent service for an old device
iRepairMan successfully replaced the screen on my 1st-gen iPhone SE when other repair shops couldn't source the part due to the phone's age. Not only does the new screen look great and work perfectly, but they also fixed a dead zone on the leftmost edge that had been an issue for seven years since my previous screen replacement.

What was great was they came over so quickly. Marty tried to repair it on the spot but the damage was more complicated, so he had to take it away. He kept me informed throughout the repair and my phone was delivered back to me in full working order. Besides all that, the very fact they come to your home and deliver the item back to you is amazing!

Installed an worn off Display and…
Initially received a quote for £159 later wanted to charge £30 additional for call out and agreed to take £160 cash only, Installed an worn off Display and refused to let me take the Picture of the screen that was installed showing the worn off area, instead he took the phone away.
later on Payment options was Cash or Bank transfer only NO CARD PAYMENTS WERE OFFERED.
INVOICE WAS GIVEN WITH NO VAT AND ASKED TO PAY £192 inc VAT if needed which is a TAX FRAUD.
End of the day he took the phone away just for asking why the new screen installed look worn off

We are sorry to read your updated comments and would like to clarify the situation for transparency.
The £159 quote was for the repair itself. A call-out charge for covering approximately 80 miles two-way may apply, depending on location and timing, as discussed prior to attendance.
We do not install used or “worn” displays. All screens fitted are brand-new, OLED or compatible, or OEM-grade parts, unless a genuine part is specifically requested and quoted separately. A 12-month warranty was provided, and any concerns could have been inspected immediately under that warranty.
We accept bank transfer and cash for mobile repairs. Card facilities are not always available on call-outs. We are a UK-registered limited company operating in accordance with HMRC regulations, and invoices are issued under the VAT scheme applicable to our business.
After the repair was completed, payment was refused on-site, and allegations were raised. With the customer’s acknowledgement, the device was retained temporarily so the matter could be reviewed and resolved properly. Payment for the completed work was not made at that time.
We remain open to resolving the matter professionally.

Disappointing service for a high price
I was disappointed with the service, especially given the high price I paid.
The technician replaced the back screen protector on my iPhone 15 but left a visible smudge on one of the camera lenses that never disappeared. The screen protector on an iPhone 14 Pro was also poorly done, and despite the advertised warranty, the issue was never fixed.
Improvement: better quality checks and more reliable aftercare.

Very disappointing experience and poor…
Very disappointing experience and poor workmanship.
The technician arrived over two hours late, which already caused major disruption to my workday. I waited because I was assured my iPhone was fully fixable.
Before the repair, my phone had rebooting issues, but all core functions were working normally: power button, silent switch, Face ID, speaker, front camera, and call audio. The technician opened the phone and told me I was “lucky,” that there was no major damage, and that replacing the battery would fully fix the issue. I was also assured everything would work as before and that the repair came with a 12-month warranty.
After the battery replacement and reassembly, the phone was returned in a much worse condition. The power button and silent switch stopped working, Face ID failed, the front camera became blurry, and the speaker no longer worked (calls only worked on loudspeaker). None of these problems existed before the repair.
When I raised these issues immediately, the technician blamed “water damage,” removed the new battery, and left without providing a refund, despite the phone being returned in a significantly worse condition than before the service.
I paid £135 for a repair that not only failed but caused additional faults. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this service.

Butchered my phone in his car
Butchered my phone in his car, I was supposed to get the back glass repaired. He slapped on another one and it sticks out far from the body of the phone. This is a cowboy operation, don’t expect your device to come back looking like factory standard. If the price was lower I’d have accepted this but not for the amount I paid £150!!. Now my phone definitely looks like it’s been tampered with so I can’t take it to trade in anywhere, no one will take it.

Good service
They responded quickly and set up an appointment on the same day. It might seem odd that the chap drives round and does the fix in his car but bear with him. He told me my phone was a special edition so took away to fix it with parts from the warehouse. I was a bit sceptical but he drove back the next day with a fixed phone. And it was the weekend.

I’m Japanese, and my English is not very good. I work hard every day, but money is really tight.
Then, suddenly, my phone stopped charging. For three weeks, it wouldn’t charge beyond 1%. I didn’t have enough money, so I tried about six different solutions using ChatGPT and my Mac, but nothing worked. Finally, today, I went to Apple to get it repaired. I waited for two hours, only to be told that it couldn’t be fixed and that I would have to buy a new one—£700. More expensive than my rent 😭
I thought there was no way to fix it that day, but when I called, Marty came to help me even at night. He understood my broken English and helped me pay only the inspection fee of £85 and the repair fee of £20—so almost £600 cheaper than buying a new one!
Seeing my phone charging again for the first time in three weeks almost brought me to tears.
Thank you so, so much 😊 I’m going to keep going and make it through life in the UK! Arigatou!!
