Passed my test this morning with only two marks grade 2, after having 17 marks grade 2 on my last test with the different driving school.
Petra was amazing and thanks to her I corrected my driving and was able to do great job on my test this morning.
Couldn't recommend Petra and IN Gear driving school more.

I couldn’t recommend in gear more, jacky was a great instructor especially for someone who gets highly stressed in certain situations she helped me with everything she was a funny and great instructor to have and helped me from start to finish. couldn’t recommend more

In Gear Driving School

Ian, who is part of In Gear Driving School a top-tier, high-excellence driving school — is, without a doubt, an outstanding professional. Calm, incredibly patient, and with explanations that are clear, objective, and precise — above all, he demonstrates a level of honesty and integrity that is truly rare. I passed my driving test thanks to his flawless guidance.

Even though I already had prior experience and took lessons with highly rated instructors from well-known driving schools like National Driving School, ISM Driving School, and reputable private instructors, none of them came close to the level of excellence I found at In Gear, especially with Ian.

Unfortunately, some instructors omitted crucial information — which I only discovered later through YouTube — and others reacted with impatience or even hostility when I made mistakes, without even stopping to listen to my questions or provide proper clarification.

Teaching goes far beyond simply transferring technical knowledge. It requires empathy, active listening, and effective communication. Ian embodies all of these qualities with excellence. He was the only truly complete instructor I found throughout my entire learning journey.

If anyone ever asks me for a recommendation, I won’t hesitate — Ian, from In Gear Driving School, is the one and only name I’ll give.

CATHERINE at In Gear Driving School got me a pass 1st time!!! Hello, I am Lorena, and I went for an hour-long drive with Instructor Catherine from "In Gear." While I was waiting for my test date (still on the waiting list), I decided to perform a one-hour drive, which was more like a pre-test, just out of curiosity. Catherine was kind and comprehensive, explaining everything (signs, roundabouts, my road observation, automobile, etc.). I felt like I learned 12 lessons in one, and I wanted to thank her for that. I know that an excellent driving instructor's direction and guidance significantly impact a learner's confidence and driving skills. Undoubtedly, until I have my date, I will have a few more hours with Catherine, and I highly recommend driving instructor Catherine from In Gear Driving School.

I can’t recommend in gear enough, especially my instructor Joe Carton. He was absolutely brilliant. So helpful. I failed twice and passed today on the 3rd try. He never gave up on me and always done his best to help me. Absolutely delighted with my pass and fully believe it’s down to Joe, thanks so much again!!
