Wanted in on call line for full 3 hours…
Wanted in on call line for full 3 hours Yesterday, from 16:10 to around 19:15
I was number 8 in line when I called and number 1 in line for the last full hour og my call, which is the oddest - was the person before me getting help on the call line for 1 full hour??? I dont think so! After 3 hours of waiting, my call was bluntly just cut off / disconnected from the other side!
They dont have an option to receive your signature and picture for your application on their location, we have to get it all scanned and uplaoaded from home, and their phone line is absurdly bad to get through as I just mentioned, so there is not much help to come for with them when you have tror le filling out the crap on their website from home. Really frustrating.

I went to collect my passport
I went to collect my passport, and despite having been there before others, whose who arrived after us were able to leave before us without taking a number. The staff are inefficient, they disappear for long periods, and never asked for names to process the passport collection. This experience has been frustrating and has wasted a significant amount of my time. People should be properly trained for this kind of job.

When you are in trouble don't expect anything.
We, a group of 6, got the e-visa without any problems. The problem was that one of us got a new passport afterwards so although the e-visa was granted it was on a wrong passport number (our mistake).
We were allowed to enter India on a 72 hour permit and were told that it wouldn't be a problem to get a regular tourist visa. We have been at the local passport office, tried to contact the immigration office (English so bad they don't understand that it's regarding a danish passport) and tried to call the phone number on the e-visa (they hung up). Nobody could (would?) help.
Then we forwarded all the relevant documents regarding the case to the Indian embassy in Denmark and asked if they could please help us with getting a new e-visa quickly.
"Not our responsibility".
We are stuck, can't check in on any hotels (they check Visa status - stamp in passport) and don't know what to do.
Indian embassy: why not just renew the e-visa? You have the authority? And then figure out the payment afterwards??
Ps yesterday four police officers showed up at our hotel but to our luck the person in question wasn't there. Everybody is scared now.

Appalling customer service, so rude
Appalling customer service I have never been spoken to so rudely in all my time. Lead me to pay for visa which on the day had been released back on line and could have saved over £100. Despite booking an appointment in advance there is no system for controlling appointments, we spent nearly the full day there in the end. Would definitely not recommend.

Overall, good experience
The place was very chaotic but thanks to Frank( at the first reception) I managed to complete my tourist application, although the place was very busy ,Frank was very kind and provided clear instructions and was extremely helpful. I would give 5 star only because of Frank's efficiency

world third class service and third class staff no manner how to talk with people no one like to go indian embassy im indian but i must say who working in indian embassy staff so rude and third class zero qulity compar to british people are soo good
