I purchased $200 on two separate gift cards. I didn’t use them for about a month and when I did get around to using them both of them wiped out. I purchased these gift cards at my local target store and wouldn’t you know that both gift cards were wiped out by none other than target except they were in California. I bought these cards in Utah! Reading through these reviews it is crazy nothing has been done about this! It is up to us the consumers to boycott these gift cards and go after this company on a more serious level!!! We should all be suing for punitive damages. Why does it take so long to get your money back??? I’m starting to wonder if I will ever see that $200 again???
I received a VISA Debit card as a gift
I received a VISA Debit card as a gift. Come to findout it had been compromised. I called and opened a dispute on 7/25/22 nd was told it would take up to 90 days.
I called back today 11/3/22 and was told it was still in process as the dispute department didnt look at my case until 9/12/22.
Might I add the average wait time each time I called was over 25 minutes.
Horrible customer service.

My gift card was skimmed immediately upon receipt. The customer service to report it stolen was horrendous. They outright lied, refused to provide a contact number for the dispute/fraud section, would not send a dispute form for 14 days, and then required another 90 days to process the refund. Even though they acknowledged receipt of the dispute form, they claimed it was lost. The actual workers appear to be intentionally stalling, not providing information, or providing false information.

I was given a $50 gift card by my customer as a simple token of appreciation. The balance was wiped out by someone else (hacker perhaps) even before I had a chance to use it! I called vanilla giftcards and was advised to fill a form and file a dispute with incomm. It would then take 90days to reach a decision whether they would refund me or not. Alot of overhead, effort and patience are needed. A very unpleasant & frustrating experience indeed!!!!

I received a $250 gift card from VanillaGift.com for Christmas. I charged around $70 with Amazon. Yesterday I checked the Vanilla gift card balance and it had been hacked for $187...effectively wiping out the balance. When I called the customer service number on the back of the card my call was never answered...just a message loop telling me someone would be with me shortly. The website has no option for reporting lost, stolen or hacked cards and it must be done by phone. DO NOT BUY VANILLA GIFT CARDS!!! No customer service whatsoever!
BEWARE - VANILLA VISA & INCOMM FRAUD AND SCAM
I was given a $100.00 Vanilla Visa card as a gift. When attempting to make a purchse, I opened the gift card packaging while standing at the register and saw that the last 4 digits of the gift card number had been INTENTIONALLY scratched out. I called and emailed customer service (InComm) several times to get a new card and was told there was nothing they could do and refused to honor the gift card funds. This is a scam and fraud by Vanilla Visa and InComm, and I am reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission, The Better Business Bureau, and any other site that monitors fraudulent activity. Do not buy gift cards from this company.

Someone charged over $400 on my visa gift card before I even opened the package to use it. There is serious security flaw with this company's. gift card system. The scammer transacted in a city miles away from where I purchased the card and the physical card was in my possession the whole time. When filed the case dispute with Incomm, they just declined it without even reviewing the transactions, or contacting the merchant. Very terrible service and will strongly advise to stay away. There are many other issuers for Visa Gift cards, shop elsewhere to save yourself the trouble.

Appalling customer service when you can actually get to speak with someone. They sent the wrong card design (card was blank, no design at all) and they said all they could do was cancel the card I'd received and that I could order a new one. When asked why I had to pay for shipping again, they said 'that's all we can do'. After nearly one hour on the phone (3 separate calls) they referred the matter to 'back office' to see if they would refund shipping charge of $8.95, so I could place a new order and not be out of pocket. Surely if you make an error, you put it right straight away and not at any further expense to the customer. I will never use them again as their customer service is appalling.

I had my money stlen from my gift cards $1500 worth and this company refuses to refund my money. It was stolen by a company called Taobao. The American Express website is not secure! They allow companies to steal your money and then refuse to give it back. DO NOT USE THE WEBSITE to check card balances or you will be stolen from.

I have been trying to have funds released after renting a car. It's been on hold for 60 days!!! The rental car company has done numerous letters to have the release issued 4 times, and after each letter, something else is missing. Now Incomm is telling me that the rental dates don't match! How can that be? We have the contracts in our hands!! After the first weeks review we were told it isn't on company letter head, next letter we were told that the branch manager didn't sign it, next letter we were told that the merchant I'd is wrong! With the letter from the rental agency that was sent yesterday, we are now told that the authorization codes are wrong, the dollar amounts are wrong, the rental dates are wrong, his signature looks like a stamp, in fact the only thing right was my name!!!!! Avoid this company at all costs if you need access to your money!

Vanilla Gift Card allowed a charge of $10 and $1 to process on a gift card that I personally purchased and when it was brought to there attention Incomm out of Atlanta REFUSED to refund my money. I have filed complaints with Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, and many other sites. PLEASE do not fall victim to the FRAUD/SCAM company and IF you do NOT buy any of their products you will be helping to put this company out of business.
