I attended the paediatric phlebotomy course with Edd which was very thorough and informative.
I very much enjoyed it and would highly recommend Edd and his team.

I completed the phlebotomy course which was very informative. The faclitater Dana was was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and tbe group was very supportive. It also enlighten me how much opportunities are available.

After working in NHS admin and taking time out to raise my children, I wanted to return in a more clinical role. I came across Bloods and Beyond, did my research, and decided to take their phlebotomy course. I’m so glad I did! The training was thorough, hands-on, and delivered in a real GP practice setting. Edd’s teaching style is clear, approachable, and makes learning so much easier.

Just two months after completing the course, I secured a phlebotomy role at a local GP, where they’re also training me to administer immunisations. I truly believe the knowledge, skills, and confidence I gained from this course helped me land the job. I also went on to complete extra courses like wound care, observations, first aid, and safeguarding, which built on my skills.

I couldn’t recommend Bloods and Beyond highly enough to anyone wanting to start a career in phlebotomy!

From initial contact right up to practical training day, communication was great. Angela was really helpful at answering questions about various courses and booked me in. The online content/handbook was really informative. It was really good to actually see the trainer on the training videos, it offered a more personable experience and made it more familiar on the practical day. The practical training was delivered brilliantly it was a super relaxed environment, friendly and Edd was really knowledgeable and patient. My only slight negative was that it was quite a distance from me, but hey a night off and away for a break was part of the experience. Highly recommend iNTraining.

I attended the venepuncture practice and techniques, Advanced venepuncture practices and Intravenous cannulation masterclass weekend. This was an amazing course, Edd the trainer is absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend the masterclass weekend. I learnt so much and cannot thank Edd enough. Here is to my future career.

I have had a live venepuncture and cannulation training which was really good for me. Theory part was nailed it gained so much through it. Definitely I am looking forward to go for the similar courses.

Edd was a great trainer for this intensive, two day phlebotomy course, engaging the class with his friendly, humorous and interactive manner. The lessons, theory and practicals were all explained simply but in detail, with time made for questions, demonstration and repetition. This was especially appreciated during the practical exam and also the live bloods module some of us took on the second day. Such components often require extra time and care for trainees to be thorough and Edd was very reassuring to all of us.

He was also kind enough to have a conversation with me a few weeks before the session so I could ask questions to prepare and has been very helpful with employment, cpd and theory advice post-course.

I'd recommend anybody working in or interested in the medical/clinical field to get in contact with Edd at In-Training and see how they can help with continued professional development for you and your clinical staff or getting started in a totally new career entirely.

Grateful for the experience and now onto employment. 😊
