Doing some research on competition imports trying to understand total size of market. So far the free plan gave me all I needed.

I used ImportYeti for research. I like that they offer a monthly option, so you do not get locked into an entire year - this isn't research I normally do, so I was able to pay for one month. I also used another program so can compare. I prefer the way IY presents the results better than the other platform. I do wish IY would add a graph overview, like a pie chart, that gives you grand totals. Their customer service is very good. I will use them again should the need arise.

Great service! I recommend the paid "professional" subscription if you are really serious about doing your research- it gives you A LOT more data.

ImportYeti is one of the few genuinely useful tools if you're working with international suppliers, especially when it comes to the U.S. market.
I'm currently researching suppliers from India and wanted to see if their shipments to countries other than the U.S. could somehow be tracked. The answer is: not directly, but there are indirect ways. For example, you can identify who they're shipping to in the U.S., then analyze those companies' products and customer reviews to get a better picture of the supplier’s positioning and quality.
In fact, many Indian factory catalogs use U.S. sizing, which already suggests they're mainly geared toward the American market. Getting real product info from them can be tricky — prices aren't always listed, quality is hard to verify quickly, and often the listings are just praise with no substance. And good luck reverse searching a beige roll of textile by image.
Of course, it’s not an all-in-one tool, and the data is limited to U.S. ocean freight imports. But even that — names, volumes, frequency — is often enough to test a hypothesis or eliminate a weak supplier. This kind of information is rarely public.
No product research tool that scans by image or keywords can give you the same insight into actual order volumes. ImportYeti shows you who’s ordering what, how much, and how often. Great resource. Free and accurate info. Easy to use

This app is still in development but showing some really good potential. It's clean-cut and easy to use. There is a great research tool showing all the HS code categories. The Company search is really good and you can even filter by country!
This facility is FREE so please try to support it.
