IRP Experience
All in all, the program helped me realise that the game is very team based and it's super important to have great fundamentals in order to advance and win games consistency. I learned how to play my role better, have more initiative and be able to set up my team with util + comms to help win more games.
The map overviews were really good as it showed the specifics of maps and how to play it fundamentally. The scrims and map drills were very valuable as it allowed me to work on the goals from the map overview and dial in my fundamentals whilst playing with like minded students. The 1-on-1s were great because they teach you the specifics about what you need to adjust and improve in order to improve your overall gameplay, this is all tailored specifically for me.
IRP review
Throughout my time at IRP the coaches helped me point out silly mistakes in my gameplay, often mistakes that I didn't even know I had. I was given a structured process to help build and maintain good habits. I was given good guidance on my macro understanding and was helped understand how to play initiator.
The 1on1s were the most valuable aspect of coaching, this was mainly because I was given tailored corrections and advice on my in game mistakes and then received actionable goals to work on throughout the week.
The map overviews were very helpful and the attack and defence drills were fun, whilst giving us students an opportunity to apply the theory for each map (and farm some coaches).
I found IRP through one of the Konpeki…
I found IRP through one of the Konpeki youtube videos and became intrigued with how the program was advertised as a more serious competitive environment. My experience with IRP has been absolutely amazing and i would recommend it to anyone who is seriously driven to improve for any reason. Every single coach is phenomenal and can pinpoint exactly what you need to work on. I love all of the different drills and classes you could work on as well. Absolutely amazing coaching and they've made such an amazing player 10/10!!
Game-Changing Coaching Experience
For anyone who is seriously looking to improve in this game, this program is absolutely worth it and a great value. Even before your season officially begins, you already receive a lot of support and guidance. Once the season starts, you’ll go through an intense and meaningful ten-week program.
The two most helpful parts of the course are the one-on-one VOD reviews. During these sessions, you and your coach take a very detailed and structured look at your strengths and weaknesses, what you do well, what needs improvement, and most importantly, how you can fix your shortcomings. The coach also provides many practical methods and strategies to help you improve. After these ten weeks, I felt a significant improvement in my aim, crosshair placement, and overall mechanics.
Another important part of the program is the weekly scrimmages held every Saturday. During these matches, the coach gives immediate feedback whenever you make mistakes, explaining what you could do better. They also help you refine your in-game decision-making and provide realistic plans that increase your chances of winning.
Overall, this course is absolutely worth every penny and delivers far more value than expected.
My personal experience
Overall my coach and all the other classes they had i felt i genuinely learned from especially from my coaches 1on1s.
Gave great input on Gameplay
Gave great input on Gameplay, focus on improvement. Coaches are nice, information is placed structrured.
But because the promised ranked wasn't reached, even though the promised ranked was set down during the rank reset, which was somehow reasonable but should have communicated before booking the course.
For me the price does not justify the outcome, unfortunately I cannot recommend the program
Worth it
This Progam was great, i learned alot and got taught a lot, it was worth the money if i could do it again later i would, i met a bunch of cool people and found my duo in the irp progam. The coaches are great and they push you to learn and they want you to do good and make sure you hit your promise rank. I loved how the coaches interacted with you and showed you what your doing wrong and how you could fix it. Overall a great progam
My experience at IRP
The 1on1s were great experience, i learned the most there. Then scrims were fun to put your knowledge into a team environment different from ranked more like premier. Lessons were educational, office hours were alright, but little messy towards end of the seasons. The EU schedule was a little bit to late personally. Some days i needed to wake up at 4:30 am. so 11pm was a little late. 9-10pm would be way better.
IRP program very helpful
IRP helped me alot in helping me understand more of the game, working on small things that seperate a good player from an even better player. Coach In0x also helped me fix a lot of small minor errors that helped me see a massive improvement in my gameplay. I can confidently say that IRP as a program itself is very very helpful and I coudn't recommend it more to anyone who is serious about improving.
IRP Testimonial
Honestly, IRP was a fantastic program. A lot of people look for a quick fix to improve or rank up instantly, which for most people simply isn't possible. The main thing this program taught me wasn't to immediately be better at the game, it was the concept of improvement, and the necessary steps to fulfill my goals. IRP and my coach Zelo were a massive help.
My time in IRP was amazing
My time in IRP was amazing, the people i met as well as the coaches genuinely want to see you improve at valorant. My coach helped me improve on my mid rounding and also helping with how not to tilt in the crazed state of ranked. Many of the goals I set for myself at the start of the 10 week program have been met or mostly met with the help of everyone in IRP, I have a much better understanding of the game. I can confidently say that I am a better player and I would recommend anybody that wants to improve but don't know where to go, to join IRP.
Really kind coaches who take there time…
Really kind coaches who take there time to listen to every student and give them really good detailed answers.
Also the way it is structured really gives you the room to improve and you dont just get bomboarded with new info.
Really great experience.
This program gives you so much that ranked just doesn't have. it gives you a team environment to experiment with different playstyles with all 10 people in the lobby trying. you get a lot of general info and a lot of personal help so its helpful no matter what your rank is. I started IRP barely ascendant 2 and during my season I shot to immo 2 128rr in just a few weeks. I will admit I got a little lucky but IRP made such a big difference that it was all worth it in the end.
Plat II to Immortal II
I joined IRP as a Platinum 2 player and have learned an incredible amount about the game. My end rank ended up being Immortal 2. The coaches are very proffesional and thorough when explaining concepts. I honestly think that this is a very solid program for those looking to better understand the game and become better at their hobby!
Worth every Penny
Joined IRP mostly for the Rank guarantee and got so much more. Got effective strategies on how to take site, how to successfully play a post-plant, how to correctly use agent utility, the different types of swings and when to utilize the, and best of all; a community of like-minded players who are always down to get a little more RR.
The Depths You Can Learn With IRP
The reason I joined IRP was to not only help better my gameplay but also how to self analyze my own gameplay to a higher degree. Through IRP I was able to meet a bunch of people who were striving to get better at the game and weren't just queuing comp just to queue. I was able to learn heaps of knowledge during my 1 on 1 with Maru and Cell. During lessons the coaches were able to explain higher more complex thinking and decision making and able to give feedback during DMs or Scrims. IRP has been a great help in my journey to learn the game on a higher level, and I'm excited to keep learning with future lessons to come.
0 experience player, tries out serious coaching
I came into this program having no experience in any FPS games at all, I just had a really competitive mindset and wanted to see how far I can get into this game. I didn't want to spend thousands of hours trying to figure things out and going through different trial and error processes to know what works and what doesn't. I discovered this program when @Konpeki was advertising it in his video and just wanted to check it out. Obviously the price is an eye opener, and let's be real it's not for everyone especially for those who are running on a tight budget. I definitely had my own set of doubts, there were a lot of haters in the reviews and a lot more in Konpeki's comment sections. I even messaged one of their marketing members if I could take back the membership after a week due to buyer's remorse. In the end I just stuck with my decision and followed through with it financially. I can safely tell you that I did not regret that decision
Now for the story of the gameplay itself, I started in bronze 2 when I discovered the program and booked my first assessment 1 week right after. From just simply watching the guide videos and learning from the previous season's classes I made my way to silver 1 just a few hours before the first assessment call. I've worked with @evaD in majority of the program and a one time session with coach @in0X as well. They basically built me from the ground up, trying to instill into my mindset what the good habits should be, and what bad habits are. This was especially helpful since I'm basically a raw canvas and I don't have any notable tendencies yet. All I did was just follow what the coaches have told me and whatever the best things are to do in different situations and the results definitely showed. In a total of 197 hours in game (competitive) I went from silver 1 to platinum 3 that's at least 3 games a day for a solid 5-6 weeks continuously with warmup and maybe 2-3 deathmatches before, but I've even had days where I took a rest and even took 3-4 weeks in total from the program just resting from work. The only thing that I felt that held me back throughout this whole program was that I did not play enough games to really prove how high of a ceiling I can get, and till now I can still feel that I can excel further. I always just thought to myself if I didn't take those breaks I wouldn't have had to reset my mechanics after and try to get on form, how far could I have really gone? every time I get a DM review with coach @Maru he always points out the little things I can do to further my mechanics, and the most notable thing he told me was "Just play DMs more" and that really stuck with me because it applies in rank games too.
Obviously I'm not settling for just platinum 3 I want to go even higher, and really see how good I can get. Unfortunately (pls don't kill me Evad T_T) I haven't even used all my one on one sessions with him, I only used 4/6 due to well... server problems recently (someone pls explain why my ping is spiking every time I queue up for the past 2-3 weeks). But that just goes to show how in depth each session is because I simply just have to look back at the previous sessions from DM reviews to my 1on1s to see the things that I should NEVER be doing and the things I know I EXCEL in. For the people having doubts on whether or not they should join the program, the first question should always be how serious they really are. Money is simply a burden you're willing to carry.
Just want to say thank you to all the coaches @evaD @in0X @Maru @ReQz @Raymon @zelo @temoc for all the scrims, DM reviews, and private messages I give you guys and always responding to me in a constructive manner :DD good luck in the climb :))
I Learned a lot during the 10 weeks on…
I Learned a lot during the 10 weeks on how to improve at Valorant. Starting off I was really lost coming from Br games like apex and Fortnite but coming every week to meetings and 1 on 1 vod reviews got me to a point that my mechanics, mindset and understanding of the game overall are better. Great experience definitely recommend!!
I joined irp after really struggiling…
I joined irp after really struggiling on figuring out why I was not progressing anymore. During 1 on 1 with raymon I learned of many tendencies I had, that were detramental to my improvment. Over all, the coaches were all very nice and responsive, as well as really showing that they know what they are teaching.
My IRP experience.
The coaches not only give you advice on how to rank up in competitive but they also differentiate good plays vs bad plays for competitive as well as in a tournament scene with a team. Coaches give you personalized advice that’s thorough yet simple to comprehend. The coaches push you to succeed and recommend you take advantage of everything they have to offer. They are willing to spend extra time on you and really care to see you improve. The coaches will even dm you just to check up on you and remind you to do things. They have tips ranging from gameplay, to mindset, to aim training. They are passionate about what they do.
