O curso tem excelente metodologia que realmente gera resultados. Fiquei muito satisfeita e pude unir o útil ao agradável, aprendendo um novo idioma e fazendo turismo.

Die Sprachschule in Catania war für mich einfach toll.
Von Anfang an herrschte eine warme, herzliche und fröhliche Atmosphäre, in der man sich einfach wohlfühlt. Ein riesiges Dankeschön an Alessandro, der nicht nur alle unsere Unternehmungen mit Herzblut organisiert und voller guter Laune begleitet hat, sondern sich sogar persönlich um ein Problem von mir gekümmert hat – ich hatte ein wichtiges Medikament in Deutschland vergessen, und dank seiner Hilfe und ein paar Stunden später hatte ich’s tatsächlich schon in den Händen – einfach unglaublich hilfsbereit!
Auch Caterina, unsere Lehrerin, war großartig: herzlich, engagiert und mit viel Witz: Sie war super aufmerksam und hat sich immer Zeit genommen, wenn wir bestimmte Grammatikthemen genauer vertiefen wollten.
Ich habe den C1-Kurs besucht und und dabei nicht nur mein Italienisch total verfeinert – sondern auch wunderbare Erinnerungen mitgenommen.

Consiglio vivamente questa scuola. L'atmosfera è aperta e allegra. I corsi si svolgono in piccoli gruppi, sono quindi personalizzati e intensivi, si impara molto! Ma abbiamo anche riso molto insieme, perché le simpatiche insegnanti trasmettono sempre la materia con testi interessanti e divertenti - grazie mille a Luce e Roberta! Durante la pausa ci si incontra sulla terrazza sul tetto con tutto gli altri studenti e si parla di nuovo italiano, ognuno come meglio può, e funziona! 😊
Tre volte alla settimana viene offerto anche un programma pomeridiano o serale. Anche questo è fantastico. In questo modo imparare l'italiano è davvero divertente. Grazie mille ad Alessandro e a tutto il team per il bel periodo trascorso. Tornerò! 🐘

Das Personal sind sehr hilfsbereit und entgegenkommend. Der Direktor schaut den Vortschritt der Schüler jeweils an und wenn eine Unterforderung oder Überforderrung besteht, unternehmen sie das nötige, so das der Schüler viel profitieren kann und sich wohlfühlt. Grosses kompliment an die Lehrer.

È stato un corso molto utile, con una professoressa, Roberta, molto paziente e con attività molto divertenti.
Inoltre, il manager della scuola, Alessandro, ci ha fatto un test di livello prima del nostro arrivo per adattare le lezioni al nostro livello e si è preoccupato di organizzare 3 attività settimanali su temi diversi per conoscere in profondità la vita e la tradizione catanese.
Grazie mille per tutto! Spero di poter ripetere l'esperienza 😊

Thanks to the IH school, I recently took a basic course (B1) in Italian there and I was incredibly satisfied with the results. Teachers explain everything clearly, always ready to help and explain the unclear material. I recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn a new language! Grazie mille! J'ai suivi des cours d'italien à l'International House de Catane pendant 2 semaines et c'était parfait !
3h de cours le matin permettant à la fois d'améliorer la compréhension et l'expression orale/écrite mais aussi de progresser en grammaire.
Tous les professeurs étaient très compétents et sympathiques et mettaient en confiance pour pouvoir s'exprimer.
Certains après-midi, l'école organisait des sorties en groupe : aperitivo, cinéma en plein air, balade dans Catane...
Et je recommande l'option du logement en famille d'accueil pour encore plus s'immerger dans la vie catanaise.

Last week I attended a one-week Italian course at International House Catania and I had an amazing experience. The teaching was of very high quality with a modern, interactive approach that made learning enjoyable and effective.
The school also organized great evening social and cultural activities like concerts, all in a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The teachers were professional, supportive and passionate.
I highly recommended for everyone looking to learn Italian in an immersive and inspiration way 😊

Le lezioni sono super interessanti e coinvolgenti, grazie a insegnanti preparati e appassionati. La scuola è ben organizzata, accogliente e ti fa sentire subito a casa. Anche le attività sociali e culturali del pomeriggio e della sera sono un vero punto di forza: divertenti, varie e perfette per fare amicizia e praticare l’italiano in modo autentico. E poi... Catania! Una città meravigliosa, piena di energia, con gente calorosa, buon cibo e un’atmosfera unica. Un’esperienza che consiglio a tutti!

I had an amazing time learning Italian A2 at International House in Catania! The classes were super engaging and used a modern, hands-on approach that really helped me improve fast. The social activities in the afternoons and evenings were so much fun—and a great way to meet people and practice Italian in real life. Plus, Catania is such a cool and lively city—there’s always something interesting to see or do!

Sono immensamente grata per l'opportunità di aver partecipato a questo corso di italiano in Italia. È stata un'esperienza arricchente, sia dal punto di vista linguistico che culturale. In March I took an intensive A2 course for 2 weeks, including the Grande Sicilia Tour.
I was elated by the competent leadership of the institute by the director, Alessandro. He had the patience of an angel, was always attentive, and always had a sympathetic ear for his students.
I had a time problem with the return trip to the airport, and Alessandro even helped me on his Saturday off! Thanks again for that!
My two instructors, Caterina and Giuliana, were the best teachers I've ever had! Perhaps it was the special learning method or simply their competence in teaching the material, because in all the courses I've taken before, I've never learned and deepened so much as I did in these two weeks!

Many thanks also to Valeria, who was our tour guide. You also did a wonderful job!

It was sooooo nice to meet you all; you are a dream team, and I fondly remember the time we spent together!

I attended this school for 7 weeks and I loved it from day 1: for the way (and the effort) to organize classes well, and beyond classes extra activities, for its modern approach to language instruction, and for all the people who work there. Classes: groups are formed on a weekly basis - teachers change weekly. After one week I regretted that I lost my first teacher until I met the next one and the next group, and loved it as well, with new routines and refreshed excitement. All of my teachers (4) used a modern approach to language instruction (focused on speaking, listening, reading -- grammar is taught as a meaningful tool to develop and improve verbal skills) Thank you again to the direttore and ALL the school's teachers - who made sure we loved our classes, who sometimes ended class on Friday with a song that still stays with us.

Ho frequentato un corso di italiano per due settimane ed è stata un'esperienza meravigliosa.
Mi è piaciuta molto la metodologia didattica, la qualità e la professionalità degli insegnanti.
Le lezioni sono dinamiche, interessanti e coprono una varietà di argomenti.

I took an intensive course + 1h private at International House Catania for 6 weeks. I truly enjoyed it! The teachers are amazing, well prepared and they make the lessons fun. The overall atmosphere is just lovely and friendly, it's easy to meet people, both local and other students, so it's not unlikely to go out for a meal or some drinks together, which speeds up the learning process. I feel much more confident speaking in italian now, and I can show it off to my friends and family back at home!

A great school with an excellent teaching concept! Great teachers (thank you Roberta and Giuliana!!), a pleasant learning atmosphere and lessons that are simply fun. I was there for a month and had 3 hours of lessons every day. In the first half, the focus was on speaking, whereby mistakes didn't matter at first, the main thing was to make yourself understood. You quickly lose your inhibitions and gain the confidence to speak a lot. In the second half, we focused more on grammar and correct phrasing. Overall, there was a perfect balance of reading and listening comprehension tasks, written exercises and speaking, with the latter always being the most important. After such a short time, I was already able to make myself understood in Italian in everyday life, even though I had practically started from scratch. The school had placed me with a wonderful host family, where I felt right at home and was always able to use what I had learned. Catania is also simply worth living in: culture, sun, sea, views of Mount Etna, great excursions.... What more could you want? All in all, a great recommendation!

Ho fatto un corso al livello B2 con idee precise sui contenuti. E sono completamente soddisfatta: l‘insegnante ha preparato gli argomenti da me richiesti e le lezioni non erano solo informative ma comprendevano tutte le competenze necessarie (ascolto, grammatica, produzione scritta e conversazione). Ho già fatto alcuni corsi d‘italiano per stranieri e ho conosciuto alcune scuole ma l‘International House a Catania è sicuramente tra le due migliori. Complimenti a tutto lo staff e grazie.
