I tested out the IELTS Online Academic
I recently had the unfortunate experience of using IELTS Online. Regrettably, I can’t recommend this company based on my interaction with them.
The overall professionalism of IELTS left much to be desired. From the initial communication, their approach lacked the necessary gravitas. It felt as though I was dealing with amateurs, rather than experts in the field. Their customer service was nothing short of disappointing. Responses were slow, and when I did receive them, they were vague and unhelpful. It’s essential for such a company to be responsive and supportive, especially when clients have questions or concerns. During the assessment process, I interacted with several of their staff members. Unfortunately, their level of competence was severely lacking. Their English speaking skills were alarmingly poor, and they seemed ill-prepared to address technical issues. As a result, my confidence in their testing procedures plummeted. Furthermore, I found it disturbing how suspicious they seemed. It’s as though they don’t trust their own conditions for the online test.
IELTS claims to provide accurate assessments to determine their clients proficiency in English. However, my experience suggests otherwise. Their testing methods don’t align with the intended purpose, raising doubts about the validity and reliability of their assessments.
The cost of their product was shockingly high. For the quality of their services, it was unjustifiable. I excepted excellence at the premium price point, but unfortunately, IELTS failed to deliver. Their terms and conditions are cunningly crafted to maximise profits at the expense of unsuspecting customers, especially their scoundrelly refund policy.
In summary, IELTS falls short on multiple fronts. Their unprofessionalism, subpar customer service and questionable practices makes them an unreliable choice for anyone seeking accurate digital assessments of their English level. I recommend exploring alternative testing providers that prioritise transparency, accountability, competence and fair pricing.
