I purchased a one-month premium download account from IcerBox and paid the full amount via PayPal. However, the payment recipient shown in PayPal was listed as “ICE BOX SHOPPING LTD” with an unusual email address. Since I didn’t recognize it after two weeks or so, I mistakenly reported the transaction as suspicious. This was an honest error, which I acknowledged immediately and withdrew the claim on the same day.

PayPal confirmed that the dispute was closed and that IcerBox had already received the payment in full about two weeks earlier. In other words, IcerBox suffered no financial loss.

Nevertheless, my account was blocked, and I received an extremely aggressive email with threats such as:

Permanent account suspension

Inclusion in a so-called “global blacklist”

Future restrictions on PayPal, bank accounts, and credit cards

A 24-hour deadline to resolve the issue or face irreversible consequences

I contacted PayPal again and even managed to speak directly with a representative from their security team. He confirmed that the case was resolved, the funds had been released, and there was nothing more for me to do. He also emphasized that IcerBox could easily verify the payment on their end.

Despite all this, IcerBox never responded to my follow-up messages and has kept my account blocked — even though they already received the full payment and provided no further service.

This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. I made an honest mistake, took full responsibility, and spent hours trying to fix it — only to be ignored and punished as if I were acting fraudulently.

I cannot recommend this service. If you ever run into a problem — even by accident — they will treat you like a threat instead of a customer. Extremely disappointing.

**Update (31 July 2025):**
Although I made multiple attempts to clarify the situation and confirm that the payment was authorized, PayPal has now unexpectedly issued a refund – without any further input or request from my side.

I had explicitly informed both PayPal and IcerBox that the transaction was legitimate and that I did not wish to dispute it. Unfortunately, I was no longer able to update or close the case manually. This was frustrating for me, as I had no intention of reversing the payment.

I deeply regret that the provider ignored my explanations and threatened to permanently block my account, even though they had already received the payment. In the end, PayPal still issued the refund — not because I asked for it, but because the system apparently treated the case as unresolved.

This was never my intention. Very disappointing overall.

One final thought: If IcerBox had been clearly identifiable as the payment recipient in PayPal (e.g. showing “IcerBox.com” or “IcerBox Ltd”), I would have recognized the transaction immediately and the dispute would never have happened.

Premium user BUT you can only download a limited files before you have to complete captcha!!!! Unacceptable for premium users.

Never heard of this company, don’t understand and have no interest in their services. This didn’t stop them getting access to my payment details - how I have no idea - and filching 24 Euros for a service I haven’t requested and don’t want. Written to them three times, but apart from one unhelpful response they have ignored my requests for a refund.
No proper company behaves like this. Disgusting service.

I was directed to this site via a music download site (tavaz.xyz / Avxhm.se) for purchase by becoming a premium member. I paid for 30 day access but then every file I wanted to download came back with this message:
'This file is not available anymore! This file has been removed due to inactivity.'

I emailed Icerbox only to be told that files are uploaded privately and if no one looks them up for 14 days (!) they are automatically deleted. If these files are unavailable, why are they advertised on tavaz.xyz / Avxhm.se. Needless to say any and every file I want is 'unavailable' and Icerbox has refused me a refund by THREATENING me if I insisted on a refund by giving away my personal details to the WWW where I shall be blacklisted from purchasing online under my email/card/bank etc. - Yes! threatened!
This is not a legit company and you will lose your money by signing up.

je paye un abonnement premium mais il faut toujours faire 1,2 ou même 3 Capchas à chaque téléchargement, ce n'est pas ce qui est indiqué pour l'abonnement,c'est très énervant et preneur de temps!
de plus les recherches sur avaxhome ne marchent pas (sécurité parametres ? comment résoudre ce problème?) best regards
