Hymans have been my go to for anything jewellery related (my mum used to go there) and I am now 60 years old. Great family run business and give you that personal touch. Highly recommended.

Great service
New to the area and needed a new battery in an expensive watch. Looked at previous reviews and decided to call in. Staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. Explained services offered so asked them to change the battery and pressure test the watch at a very reasonable price. If there were any problems we could discuss further action. An hour later got a call to say everything was done and there were no other issues. Great service and a lot cheaper than I’ve paid before. Will definitely be back!

I have been looking for a vintage style engagement ring for a few months and wasn't finding anything I liked until I came across this website...
The ring that was advertised was exactly what I was looking for. I sent a message through Instagram asking for it to be made to my size. They were extremely helpful and friendly, and sent it to me the next day!

Professional and well priced local business
Recently had a watch refurbished here following a recommendation from a friend. Absolute top class service with a very professional team. The refurbishment price beat every other quote I received and they also had the quickest turnaround time.

Excellent service
I have had two different watch bracelets adjusted by Hymans. Both times the job was done quickly and skillfully. The jeweller took time to ensure the adjusted watch bracelets were a good fit. The staff were friendly too. The fee was very reasonable. I can recommend Hymans for servicing and repairs.

Purchased a watch ladies date just …
Purchased a watch ladies date just had nothing but trouble less than a month crown came lose took it back they sent it to their repair shop came back month later. It started to lose time again went back they had the watch for a month June 2023. Was told it was out of warranty and that the repair would cost 600 pounds but as a sign of good faith would meet half of cost.Watch came back still losing time when setting time the crown came out again.I have taken the watch to another accredited jeweller and I now am looking at a bill of 2000 pounds . The watch in question needs a vast overhaul and replacement parts including crown and tube etc.I would these type of dealers with extreme caution. The watch was a silver wedding present from my husband.Dissapointed .

My Mothers and Nanas wedding rings…
Took my Mothers and Nanas wedding rings to be resized. We lost my Mum in April and I promised her that I would wear them both. It was a huge leap of faith to entrust them with someone else as they mean so much to me. To my surprise they were ready within hours. Beautifully done I’m so happy with them. I love Hyman’s!
I have just had a necklace repaired at Hyman’s and they do a superb job every single time. Also very reasonable. There isn’t anywhere else I’d go in Leeds, they are so helpful and lovely making you feel welcome as you go into their shop. Love popping in to see what bits they’ve got in.

I needed an urgent repair on my…
I needed an urgent repair on my necklace, I called a few local jewellers but none could accommodate the timeframe needed, I ended up calling Hymans jewellers and was greeted by a lovely lady on the phone who said she could do it the same day, not just the same day but before lunch time. Even though they wasn’t initially my first choice they will certainly be my first choice in the future. Exceptional service, reasonably priced, and overall a lovely jewellers.

Amazing job
I recently visited Hyman's jewellers in Leeds to have a silver ring repaired, I was greeted with a warm welcome and found the staff very helpful in my enquiry, I was told that it could be repaired, I felt assured that it was in safe hands. When I returned after getting notification that it was ready I was delighted with repair and you would not have known it was every broken, amazing job. I was really pleased and would not hesitate to use the service again in the future.

first time experience
i went in to ask about a price for a ring resizing, handed the ring over and they did such a amazing perfect job couldn’t fault them at all, the staff was so lovely very welcoming and so helpful will definitely go back in the future and most importantly will be recommending to others :).

What a service and delivered in such a courteous, charming way! I needed a lot of little repairs, re-sizing, cleaning to some precious pieces of jewellery and Hyman's was such a find I cannot imagine going anywhere else now. I felt like a child on Christmas morning seeing my jewellery again. Stones sparkled like new, rings fitted me again and items I'd thought unwearable were returned to their former beauty. I felt as if the two colleagues who dealt with me cared about me and my modest collection. I plan to have my jewellery cleaned and polished every year by Hyman's.
