Kim & Rachel were extremely helpful.
Advice was excellent and no pressure to purchase just pleasant ladies and best support.

I went to HSL to buy a reclining chair. I have had back problems for many years and have had difficulty in finding a chair that was comfortable. Rachel spent a lot of time waiting whilst I tried out sitting in many chairs. She gave good advice on how I sat and what I needed for correct posture. She was very patient and waited whilst I went for short walks to steady my back as trying the chairs was causing pain. I couldn't fault the care and time Rachel spent with me. I am looking forward to receiving my chosen chair believing that this time I have a chair that suits my needs. I had been to four other showrooms and none of the assistants were as helpful, caring and attentive or had the expertise and knowledge that Rachel. had.

After approximately 18months sofas, chairs and fabric choices have been made. Thanks to Rachel who has been so patient through my many changes of mind about which seats and fabric combinations for the first time in my life I bought a 3 piece but in various colour and fabric choices.
The Solihull showroom staff have been warm and welcoming. Shout out to Mike for an excellent coffee and shifting of chairs around the showroom to help me rule out some dubious seating combinations.
All that’s left is to patiently await the arrival and to enjoy my new furniture😊

This was the second time I had visited my Solihull branch of HSL and each time Rachel came to help me. She was so friendly but also very knowledgeable and arranged for swatches to be sent to me so this time I placed my order. HSL is a wonderful shopping experience and both Rachel and Kim (who helped my friends) are perfect . I wish all shops were like this

Well looked after in the shop. Allowed to try out chairs in my own time without any pressure. Features of the different chairs explained simply. I had a very good deal . I was able to buy a 4 motor rise recliner for less than the 2 motor one with the offers on at the time. I had coffee and biscuits in the showroom that I sat and enjoyed in my favourite chair! I was kept informed from deposit to balance payment, to delivery. They made my chair and delivered it 4weeks . I requested it to be made quickly as I’m awaiting hip surgery and needed it in situ before hospital stay. The delivery team let me know estimated time and arrived well within time. They were polite, helpful, in that they had to move a few things to make way for chair. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience. I’m happy with my new chair!

Experience of the HSL Furniture shop was an absolute delight. Dawn and Magdalena were Top class Sales meeting all of my needs and took the time on getting the correct measurements of the fireside chair for my needs.Well done ladies. I am looking forward to receiving it especially as they are made in the Uk 👌 Thank you.

We had our chairs delivered and installed by Lee R & Carl F. They were really lovely guys and were extremely polite and very helpful.
The chairs are extremely comfortable and very easy to use!

The two gents Ian and Paul who delivered my chair were very helpful and efficient.

Whilst my wife and myself needed to replace our existing 3 piece suite, due to our mobility issues we needed specialist advice on which type of seating would be most appropriate to meet our individual needs. From the moment we arrived at the Solihull store Rachel made us feel most welcome, listened to our mobility issues and showed us various types of chairs and sofas both standard and motorised which we tried. Rachel also, explained fully the various ergonomic benefits each type of chair offered.
There was no hard sell Rachel gave us a quotation and samples of fabrics, she did follow up our visit with a telephone call a few days later to check if we had any queries. We informed Rachel that we had no queries and we would return to the store to place our order which we did today. How pleasing it was to have a most pleasant purchasing experience.

A fantastic company, especially the start at the Shirley branch. They couldn’t have been more helpful and supportive. The delivery men were on time, be pleasant and placed the chair in the required place

Carl and Damion were brilliant delivering my Moms chair, helped by getting the old one outside and made sure she was comfortable and happy with the controls.

We were fully taken through the process of choosing the correct rising recliner for our particular needs. The assistant, Prabs, was very helpful and explained all the options to us in a friendly and competent manner.

Big thank you to Rachel at HSL Solihull who was very knowledgeable and patient with helping us choose our new suite. Took quite a few visits before making our final decision but now we have it in situ, we are so pleased with the comfort and appearance. Head Office were even prepared to delay delivery until our new flooring was complete. We were frequently kept informed of delivery dates and times.

Vickie at Solihull was so knowledgeable, patient and personable. Nothing and no question was too much trouble. Everything was explained clearly and sensitively.
Everyone in the shop were welcoming and the overall feel of the shop was happy and relaxed.

Despite holding the fort on her own, she gave us her full attention without ever making us feel rushed. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and informative – she explained everything clearly and guided us through the options with genuine care and no pressure.
Rachel’s attention to detail and old-fashioned customer service made all the difference – we left confident in our choice and will definitely be returning to purchase a chair. Couldn’t recommend her highly enough!

After receiving a brochure and fabric swatches I visited the Shirley branch with my daughter to look at riser recliner chairs. I was served by Michael who was so patient, understanding and friendly and answered all my questions. We were able to take our time sitting in the chairs we were interested in and were given coffee and biscuits. The whole team at the branch were friendly and attentive. We selected the required chair and fabric

Great service from store in Shirley, Solihull ; we placed an order 7 weeks ago and delivery was on time (“6-8 weeks”)

We are absolutely delighted with our new furniture ! Both items are beautifully made, extremely comfortable and supportive and enhance the ambience of our living room,
[They are a vast improvement on our traditional recliners which we replaced: they were neither particularly comfortable nor attractive and happily our living room no longer resembles a residential home !]

Just one slight grumble - the arm covers
(an optional extra) are a bit skimpy and the material doesn’t cover the entire internal depth of the arms as did those on our previous recliners

My whole experience with HSL was amazing . …. From the wonderful lady at the shop in Solihull to the guys who delivered my chair. I would highly recommend the company to anyone. Your employees go the extra mile
