Yesterday the 23rd July my wife and I awaited the delivery of a recliner chair and medical type bed and even though thy were coming from Reading and was expecting them at 12 o'clock, I received a telephone at about 9 o'clock from Raymond who said that would be with us in about 50 minutes.
Raymond and Jason were very curtious and polite, got on with the job of assembling the bed and chair, cleaned up after themselves. They are a credit to your company, in fact from day one when we had your home team visit us at our home to show us the chair and bed they also were a credit to your company, we didn't think that sort of service existed anymore.

Fantastic service from Helen, Sue and Simon. Choice amazing. So patient with 93 year mum when we visited the store. They would’ve come to the home if needed.

The staff really helped me as I have recently had an amputation and had chosen a chair on line but after trying it wasn't comfortable and tried others deciding with a great deal of help with choice also with material . Big Thankyou.

I took my 85 year old parents to the Plymouth showroom today. It was a really positive experience .. Jonathon and Sue both went out of their way to support us to make the right decisions for my parents… they were so kind and patient . We really valued their warmth and the fact that they really listened and seemed to fully understand my dad’s needs … they made sure he was fully involved as well …we had their full attention and did not feel rushed … the showroom is very well set out too …the refreshments were a lovely touch …Thank you very much to you both

Another great visit to HSL Plympton by mum and I, we’ve returned to buy mum’s bed! Great service yet again by Sue who catered to all our needs. I was desperate for a coffee, thanks Sue it was made to perfection. Again Sue was patient and encouraged mum to try all the beds to get a feel for size and mattress comfort.
The price for the bed was more expensive than we thought even with the discounts available but there was no pressure to buy and mum was offered to go away and think about it but she chose to buy and is now looking forward to having a new bed.
We used the ‘facilities’ on this visit to HSL - very nice and clean area and a credit to whoever has to clean them.
Thanks Sue, can we just call in for coffee? We will miss our time visiting you and your colleagues. You are a credit to HSL.

The customer service at your shop in Plymouth was excellent the lady was very helpful and made the choice of a chair very easy for us.

Sue, was very helpful. She understood our requirements and offered professional advice in a thoughtful and friendly manner. Chris, the delivery driver was great too.

Great friendly service from Sue and rest of the staff.
Only criticism was I asked for colour samples which I was assured had been requested and would be posted to me, to date I am still waiting. However the local Plymouth store did find me some in house to take home

Sue was an excellent salesperson, patient, friendly, knowledgeable and made the experience relaxing and easy. Particularly liked the lovely cup of tea offered at start of our visit.

I really enjoyed shopping at HSL in Plymouth at 12/05/2025 and Simon and Sue taught me a lot about how to choose the right chair for my back problem. I wasn't hurried or pressured at all which I really appreciated . I'm quite indecisive and with so much choice of fabric I found it hard to choose. I was encouraged to take my time to decide which I did. I like that it is a family business snd also that it's a short delivery time. I can't really think
of a negative. It was a very pleasant experience.

Mum and I have made to visits to HSL in Plymouth and the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable.
We returned yesterday for mum to make her purchase and Sue helped us. Thank you Sue for all your help and knowledge making sure mum made the right choice. Also thank you for the laughs.

Friendly, patient and welcoming staff who know their products and understand the needs of the customer. Absolutely no sales pressure. We visited the large showroom twice and phoned up twice before placing our order. Having finally chosen from a wide selection, we now look forward to receiving our new furniture.
Without an understanding of all the features to consider, we had walked into the showroom thinking we knew what we wanted and would be in and out in no time. In actual fact we spent in the region of four hours there.

Communications were outstanding. Helen who did the demos was superb with my parents.

The delivery men (sorry didn’t get their names) phoned as promised and arrived shortly after. They brought the chair in, set it up and explained the functions. Very polite and helpful

Home visit was very prompt , the lovely Jane helped my mum try the chair at home and make a choice of a express delivery rise and recline chair , and in 3 working days it was delivered and set up by Jack & Martin . Very good service all round

From start to finish the service has been excellent. Knowing what chair I wanted to buy Sue took me through all the options and ensured that I was aware of other choices. Explained what would happen after I ordered. The information concerning the delivery was excellent with a phone and a text before hand letting me know the date and time.
