HSL Chairs - Hull Omdömen 

We received wonderful service from Yvonne and Karen at the Hull branch. We were met at the door and they were both so helpful, friendly and informative. The service they offered was specific to our needs and we were very happy with the experience

I visited the Hull shower on 2 occasions, on my first visit I was greeted by Karen, I'd already been online and had a idea of what I wanted, I sat with Karen with a coffee and she carefully explained the features of the Ascot sofa ,asking relevant questions,so making sure it was the perfect choice.
She provided a quote and I left to mull it over, feeling good about my experience.
I returned the following week after looking around unable to find anything that compared to the Ascot. This time placing my order with Yvonne who was also really helpful and patient. My instore experience with HSL Hull couldn't be faulted.

Had a great shopping experience in HSL Hull . Yvonne was both knowledgeable and informative taking into account not only what was best for our needs but also what we felt comfortable with.

From entering the shop to having our chairs delivered the whole customer experience was excellent. Friendly staff with no pushy sales talk. We spent two hours in the showroom the first time without committing to buying and then returned a second time before making our decision. The final product looks fantastic in our home and is super comfortable. Special thanks to Lynne and Yvonne in the Hull Branch and Chris and Terry who delivered our chairs.

The assistant (Karen) was very friendly and helpful and informative. I was not rushed and felt very relaxed when making my purchase

Visited the Hull branch on Monday 3rd November and I was met by Yvonne, she was great and took me through all the possible choices and if it was not down to her advice i would not have purchased the right chair, she was patient and explained everything and I am very happy with my choice of chair. Yvonne is a credit to the company and I would not hesitate recommending HSL to anyone.

We ordered a chair at the hull branch, the staff there were fantastic, really knew what they where talking about and where so friendly, Paul and Jon delivered the chair today and where equally brilliant. Thank you so much, first class service.

My sister ordered her chair first, then the matching sofa from the Hull branch. Staff there were great and looked after us brilliantly.

The sofa was delivered and put together by Damion and Carl P, excellent service, on time and called ahead so we were ready.

The two people Damion and Carlp were very helpful and resourceful in delivering my two seater sofa.

What a great experience visiting HSL Hull was. My Mum was making her first solo major purchase since my Dad's death and Lucy and Polly were so patient, understanding and encouraging with her. There was no pressure to purchase and they were happy for her to take a fabric sample to colour match. Lucy encouraged Mum to try several chairs for 'fit' and the chair she chose is perfect for her. The matching sofa and chair are very comfortable and suit her room perfectly. Thank you so much for making a difficult time so much more pleasant.

Apart from the furniture looking first class and absolutely wonderful, I would like to point out the magnificent service given by Iee R and Ciaran, they were both courteous and polite and ensured the suite was situated where I had wished.

Yvonne Burton was commendably sensitive and helpful on our visit to the Hull branch of HSL. Patient and thorough. Delivery: Ciaron & Lee brought and assembled our furniture with efficiency and good humour, on time. The chairs and footstool are beautifully and solidly made and very comfortable. Overall, an entirely positive experience, Thank you!

I would not recommend purchasing anything from HSL, whilst the sales ladies in the Hull showroom we visited were helpful the after sales service has been utterly appalling . My 81 year old father purchased two recliners at the cost of £4,600 which were delivered 8.7.25. He particularly needed his due to an ongoing health issue that has required hospital stays. On 18.7.25 his chair developed a fault and an engineer was sent . He couldn’t repair the chair even though a replacement part had been fitted so another part was ordered and a second engineer came out and had exactly the same problem. We were kept informed regarding the first engineer but after the second visit the update took several days. My Father having given HSL two opportunities to repair his £2,600 chair requested a refund at this point only to be told it wasn’t that straightforward!? Bearing in mind this was all within 30 days of delivering. HSL tried to talk my Father into letting a 3rd engineer visit but on insistence it was requested the chair be collected and a refund processed. A week later we are still waiting for an update from HSL regarding a collection date leaving my ill health father without a working chair and out of pocket so he is unable to purchase another from somewhere else. The ‘service’ is appalling despite the company claiming they are highly reputable. As of today 13.8.25 we are still waiting for a date for collection and a refund. A disgusting way to treat an 81 year old man not in the best of health. Buy at your own risk and hope you have no issues after delivery!!

I visited Hull store to look for a new chair .met comfort specialist, Yvonne. She was very helpful and friendly.underdtood my needs.we even had a cup of tea and chatted about hair 😊I ordered a Bramham riser recliner and it arrived today .I am very happy with the look of it and feel amazing to sit on. Thank you Yvonne for your help and also to professional delivery men

I have to admit that my previous impression of HSL was that it was mostly furniture for people with a disability, however this idea soon changed after visiting the Hull branch. There was a great selection of furniture in an array of colours and patterns to suit all tastes, we were helped by Lucy she was very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble the whole transaction was easy and we left feeling we had bought exactly what we needed.
