There were several mispronunciations such as tirdly instead of thirdly, expotentially instead of exponentially.
There was a spelling mistake in knifes instead of knives and poor grammar in saying that adrenaline can be obtained “off” the emergency services instead of from the emergency services!
As such I found this a bit insulting in that I am supposed to undertake training which has obviously not been proof read beforehand .
The actual constant was comprehensive .

Hi Caroline. Thanks for leaving your review and sorry to hear that you felt a bit insulted. The mispronunciations you mentioned are due to the diverse culture we live in where regional accents, AI voices and narrators with English as their second language are used. This is the modern world.

Less 1☆ because would've preferred to read the transcript or play audio faster and skip the unnecessary stereotyped graphics.

Hi Sheila. Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review and rate us with 4 stars. Unfortunately we cant change the speed of audio or the fact that it's identical to the text as it's designed for all, including people whose first language may not be English.

That's great news Pauline, and thanks so much for taking the time out to leave such a generous review and 5 star rating.
Information there, but course poorly put together
This course has the required safety information, but the spelling is woeful, as is the grammar - and the cartoon people speak as if they are related to the voice on the underground. I was really surprised that anyone would let something of such poor quality - that has clearly not been checked by anyone who can speak English - go out on general release. I often missed a safety point because I was looking to see why the wrong spelling or word had been used, and that definitely detracted from the experience, as I felt I was being told the information by someone who really didn't care.

Thanks so much for the review and rating. We find that non English speakers preferer an exact text to narration scenario, and for some native English speakers this can sometimes feel a bit slow and sluggish.

Great way to gain a recognised certificate. …
It was so quick and simple to purchase the lesson I needed. It was immediately available to me after paying. I managed to complete it in one sitting just an average afternoon. Then you obtain your certificate if you get the right amount of questions correct. Thankfully I did, it was knowledge I mainly already had in my head, just needed to recap with the course and get a recognised certificate. I’ve printed it and added to my cv so hopefully that will help me gain employment soon.

Good content well presented for use in modules for starter level staff
A well presented set of modules - simple videos that use model figures to present facts in a variety of voices bringing the watchers attention back to different points.
A good speed of presentation with an acceptable level of content within each module. Good review at end of each module. I did this course purely to see whether it was suitable for a varied group of people, and I have to say there would be some who found it slow and some who lost some of the information, but as an average I think it fits the general requirement for introductory standards for those going to be working in this field. There is an over emphasis on prep, or maybe an under emphasis on how preparation, and handling feed into front of house. Overall I will be using this with starter level staff - probably as 3 separate sessions not just one as I did it, but each session is about right for average lengths of concentration and ability to absorb information.
