Their decoder set up is brilliant hate having too many functions bits nice and more simpler and does what it’s supposed to do such as different sounds are more audible than other decoder sellers

Great sound and just fits into my Bachmann 108 2 car unit. Only slight thing is the speaker size is a bit big but not an issue

I was looking for a sound chip for a class 101 and I couldn’t find one that had that distinct exhaust growl that the class 101 has. Then I heard the Howes version, and I am very pleased with it.

Very happy with the sound from this chip. I have managed to put the speaker below the chassis next to the exhaust pipe - it sounds like the real thing (of course!).

Excellent product with realistic sound at a competitive price. And even better service from Howes when i needed advice and help to finish fitting the system and adding a stay alive module. Second to none.
