The product itself is a good quality but the people that are taking the orders are unprofessional. At least one person from there …she blame me for their mistakes. They send the wrong size and i had to wait over a week for the replacemnt. They havent charged me nothing but she was rude, like. Said the product itself and the process are good but they need to train the people properly

The black tape you have mentioned is protection tape, which is applied during manufacture to protect the glazing units during transport and handling. This tape is not a finished component and can optionally be removed prior to fitting the glass units. This does not affect the performance or lifespan of the windows.
With regard to the points raised about fixings and cut-outs, we take manufacturing standards seriously and are sorry if the finish did not meet your expectations on arrival. Any excess burrs should not affect the structural integrity or installation of the product, but this feedback will be passed to our production team for review.
We would always encourage customers to contact us directly if there are any concerns prior to or during installation so we can assist promptly and resolve any issues.

The overall quality of the windows is very poor. The delivery process was a complete mess, with no proper communication at any stage. One of the windows was delivered without a vent, even though it was clearly ordered with one. Additionally, after installation, one of the windows started collecting condensation inside the double-glazed unit, which indicates a serious manufacturing defect. Very disappointing experience and unacceptable quality.

We would have welcomed the opportunity to resolve these concerns directly, as we were not contacted prior to this review being posted. In many cases, issues can be addressed quickly once brought to our attention.
Regarding the missing vent, if this was ordered as part of the original specification, this would be rectified promptly once reported. Similarly, condensation forming within a double-glazed unit is covered under warranty and would require a replacement.
With respect to delivery, the order was delivered on the delivery date advised and a time slot provided. The delivery was booked with you in advance. Please can you elaborate further why you thought it was a complete mess and no delivery notification was provided at any stage?
We take product quality and customer service very seriously and do not consider unresolved issues acceptable. We would strongly encourage you to contact our customer service team so we can investigate fully and put the appropriate remedies in place.
Our aim is always to supply products that meet expectations and to resolve any genuine issues fairly and professionally.

There’s nothing better than when a product arrives exactly as you envisioned it, especially when it's backed by a team that actually makes the process enjoyable. Efficient delivery and friendly communication really do make all the difference.
2 months later and am still waiting for the correct beads
I order a window from them that took 3 weeks to arrive (as they said it would) however the incorrect beads were sent. I didnt realise this until the window was fitted meaning we could not secure the window. I raised the issue with House of Windows who said they would get some replacements sent out immediately. After 2 - 3 weeks I hadn't received anything so I chased it up with a phone call. They said they would look into it. Another couple of weeks pasted and still nothing. This went on, with further phone calls chasing this for weeks. After 7 weeks I finally received some beads, however they were clearly not correct as they were no where near the size of our window. We are now coming up 2 months since I raised the issue about the beads and am still waiting for the correct ones to be sent.
Judging by the quality of the window and the customer serviced received over the beading I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

The Window itself was excellent but... let down on delivery
The window itself was excellent and great value. All was going well until on the afternoon of delivery they rang and due to a-breakdown of the Vehicle it was not possible to deliver. I had expected to fit the following day as the project is diy sos style. However, they offered a date one week later. there was no understanding of the implications to the project ( disabled wetroom), simply that was the best they could do. In the event i had to wait 2 days for it to locate at the factory and drove 45miles to collect it. To cap it all the fitting kit was not posted out in time and arrived at 11am on the morning just as I finished fitting it. Lesson to learn - please be more in tune with your customer and at least try to be understanding and proactive in resolving what was a real problem for the customer. If it had not mattered then I would have told them so.

I'm sorry to hear that you didn't receive your order on the anticipated date. Sadly, the delivery vehicle unexpectedly broke down and therefore, the delivery was delayed. Delivery the next day would have been unachievable, as the incident would have had to be reported and the delivery rescheduled. Logistically, this usually takes up to one week. House of Windows are truly sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Issues such as these are totally out of our control and are a very rare occurrence.
With regard to the Fit Pack, these are sent out by Royal Mail 1st class delivery. Of course, while we understand that this item should arrive in 1 to 3 working days and generally isn't late arriving, we're totally at the mercy of the postal service.
I sincerely hope that the installation went successfully and that the window has proven to be a great addition to the wet room.
