I am writing to formally request a…

I am writing to formally request a refund of my domain renewal payment for degmark.com, which I renewed through your platform HostCycle.in.

Despite completing the renewal process in good faith, your team increased the renewal price without any prior notice and later failed to provide a valid EPP (Authorization) code when I attempted to transfer the domain. The EPP code shared was expired and non-functional, and my repeated follow-ups have not been resolved.

As per ICANN and NIXI guidelines, a registrar must provide a valid EPP code within 30 days of expiry if requested by the domain owner. My request was made within this period, yet it was not honored.

Due to these non-compliant and unfair practices, I was unable to complete the transfer process, leading to the loss of my domain. Therefore, I am requesting a full refund of the renewal amount paid for degmark.com.

Please process the refund within 7 working days from the date of this email to avoid escalation. If unresolved, I will be compelled to file a formal complaint with the Consumer Court and Cyber Crime Department, along with all supporting documents and screenshots.

Hi there,

We can clearly see the misinformation you’re spreading here. If you had already renewed the domain, there would have been no reason to request the EPP code — that doesn’t make sense.

You’re now asking for a refund, but there has been no payment made to us. Regarding the EPP code we provided: if it was incorrect, your new registrar would have notified you within 7 days, as domain transfers are usually completed within that time. Instead, you contacted us after 1.5 months, which shows that the delay was due to your own inaction.

We provided the correct EPP code and sent multiple renewal reminders. Since no payment was made, there is no question of a refund. If a payment had been made, you would have opened a ticket for it instead of posting here.

You are free to raise a complaint anywhere — we have complete proof showing that we fulfilled our responsibilities correctly.

Please make sure to manage your other domains properly in the future so that you don’t risk losing them.

Don't make the same mistake as I did

Guys, if you're planning to purchase a hosting package from hostcyle.in, you're making a terrible mistake. Stay away from it if you value your money and time. I made a fool outta myself by purchasing their PRO plan in the first place. The server stays offline every once in a while and they keep changing their server IP address pretty often without informing their clients. And as a result, our website gets down and we have to face a nightmare if we're using cloudflare. I faced this a hundred times in 6 months. But the worst part is... they deleted my whole DATABASE while upgrading their server. That's true, I lost my website content (all of 'em) because of their pathetic upgradation. You guys have no Idea how much this stupid hosting provider cost me. 300MB of Database containing more than 11K articles are gone in an instant. So tell me now, guys. Do you wanna face the same nightmare?

That's why I'm tryna give you a friendly advice here. Stay away from hostcycle.in if you fancy money and time. Don't fall for those fake "positive reviews" that the owner has managed to generate by paying some money. Trust me guys, you're gonna regret it if you still go ahead and purchase one of the plans of hostcycle.in

Don't make the same mistake as I did. Go with some other hosting provider. May lord keep y'all safe and sound!

It seems you might be writing this review on behalf of a competitor. We haven't changed our IP address in over a year, and we ensure data security by taking weekly backups. If data recovery was needed, why haven't you contacted us about it? Our server uptime has been 99.97% for the past six months. It appears that this review is intended to damage our company's reputation rather than provide constructive feedback, especially since we have no users by the name A Kumar.

Bad Hosting Services -Host Cylce

We have purchased the hosting services from host cycle but after end date they have terminated after that they could not provide restore or they dont have back up facilities which impact the business' they have only 10 days notice , and there is no safe on the data which we have hosted . please go for good products

Hi there, this is from hostcycle sales team. The review was wrote by the geniune customer but the reason was irrelevant. The customer brought a reseller hosting and he supposed to renew that hosting on 2 December as it was going to expire on same day. However we have send him 5 reminders about renewal which he ignore it later our sales team has terminated his service on 17 December and he contacted us on 22 December and asking us to reactivate his service or he will destroy our company image by posting negative reviews. Moreover we have already written clearly on our policy that every client are sole responsible for their own data. Lastly few hours ago he called and blackmail us that he will going to put negative review on our company profile.
