Extremely Poor Service. Save Your Money.

I purchased the Performance RDP plan, expecting the features advertised in the description. What I got was a completely different experience.

No GPU as advertised. The listing clearly mentions GPU availability, yet no GPU was provided. This alone is misleading.

IPv6 is practically useless. I had to purchase an additional IPv4 addon just to get basic functionality working — an extra cost I shouldn't have needed.

Constant lag and instability. The RDP is painfully slow. I experience major lag during regular use, making it nearly impossible to work. On top of that, the Germany Performance server has been down or running at extremely low performance for an extended period.

RDP disconnected four times today alone. While I was actively working, the server shut down and restarted four separate times. No warning. No explanation. That is unacceptable.

Support is non-existent. Every ticket I raise gets the same copy-paste response: "Awaiting reply." No resolution. No follow-up. No accountability.

I am beyond frustrated. This service is not fit for professional use. Between the false advertising, constant downtime, missing features, and unresponsive support, I feel like I've wasted both my time and money.

If you value your work, look elsewhere.

Hello,

I cannot recognize you in our system, so I can't verify what has been happening in your case.

First of all, we do NOT advertise GPU on any of our plans. So this is merely a false claim. The price in itself should tell you that GPUs are not included, this is something than costs hundreds a month, not a couple of bucks.

IPv6 works as intended. However, you must understand that a large part of the internet does not natively support IPv6 yet. So purchasing a server with only IPv6 to browse the internet when many large websites do not support it cannot be blamed on us.

Furthermore, our IPv6 only servers are not meant to run Windows. It lacks resources. Expecting flawless performance when installing the most resource intensive OS on a single CPU core and a few GB of RAM is just expecting too much.

Ultimately I'd hate to say this but it looks like you've purchased a service where you did not read what is included, did not understand the limitations of IPv6 and expects to run Windows flawlessly on minimal resources.

My experience with HostBrr

I was using HostBrr for months, it was great, until their payment system stopped working. I've received an email that my service was suspended, which is alright, I can just pay the invoice...until...I tried to pay, but it wouldn't work. It just says that the payment failed, then after 2 days I received an email that it'd be canceled soon, and that I have to contact them asap if it's an error. During the time, the service was suspended. No data could be accessed, including backups. Everything was inaccessible.

I made a ticket quickly, they replied saying that it was simply canceled, and I failed the 3D Secure authentication, which wouldn't be possible, as I have NOT been shown the authentication page whatsoever, and they did NOT extend any time to resolve the issue. After the service was finally canceled, everything was deleted, including backups. All my data and months of work was deleted.

After I contacted them again, they simply said...... that they couldn't do anything, and also they said

It is regrettable that we didn't extend the period for payment, but as these systems are fully automated it is also very difficult to keep track of all client cancelations. As this isn't something that was caused by issues on our side, rather issues with your credit card provider, we really cannot be held responsible for this incident.
"

Which isn't true... since on other providers, it always work flawlessly.

Funny enough, they can't even rely on their terms of services that they aren't reliable for data loss, because their page was down by an HTTP/2 521 error, after mentioning it, they quickly fixed it, then after that, they continued to ignore me... for about 4 months now (since November 3) and I still haven't received a reply from them..

The service was great overall... but when faced with an issue, they choose to ignore you, which is really unfortunate as their server prices, and performance is really good.

I'd recommend anyone to not use them, but if you do, backup ALWAYS.

I ended up migrating to OVHCloud which everything works flawlessly and smoothly.

Tested 500GB HDD

Tested 500GB HDD, and several VPS in Helsinki and Germany (specifically Ryzen 9 9950X3D, 1 vCore). Benchmarks and real-world Minecraft server stress tests show excellent performance. Only thing that isn't 100% perfect is provisioning times (can take half an hour for some plans.) They also seem like a very new provider i.e. changed the domain of a HDD server, but I got it working in no time again.
If you delete a server by accident, there is no "recycle bin", it's gone forever, but I guess that's normal. The panel seems basic and VPSes are not extensible as it seems, so flexibility is not their strength, but this hasn't been an issue for me.
Can wholeheartedly recommend.

Really good service and support!

Really good service and support!
I had a few issues after HostBrr did a Storage Migration of a really inexpensive StorageBox.
The support was very helpful, professional and fast to resolve these issues.
This is incredible considering that these StorageBox are also very cheap but still there's someone trying to resolve issues when necessary!

I have been using Hostbrr since 2023

I have been using Hostbrr since 2023. And they are one of my top two providers for both VPSes as well as shared hosting and storage servers.

The services are very reliable and well connected. And the specs are exactly as stated.

I have not had to log very many tickets but the times I have I have had courteous service within 24 hours each time (usually faster).

It is hard for me to understand the complaints I read here. I think some of them are using non managed services without realizing that means they are responsible for their own build and maintenance.

I HIGHLY recommend them. The bang for the buck with them is unmatched when you factor in the quality of the service.

I have the silliest single complaint. I like to pay with Bitcoin, and I wish they used someone other than Coinbase commerce. But this is more a Coinbase problem than on them, and it works... I just have to swap into ETH first.

So if you are wondering whether or not to take a chance on them I would say absolutely... It's a terrific business.

They are Scammers

They are Scammers. So I have purchased 1 year package from them. They will just cancel your service, without any reason and also wont refund you. They resell Hetzner, which is on it's own very unreliable and you should expect massive downtime from them sometimes.
Edit : No you have not sent me any mail regarding.

Your review is simply untrue. You hosted pornographic content on our hosting packages which is against our terms of service. These terms must be agreed to before you can complete a purchase. We cannot be held responsible for you either not reading our terms or ignoring them.

We sent you a e-mail with a 24 hour notice to remove the content or be suspended. We have not canceled your service, merely suspended it. You open a ticket with us, and barely give us any time to respond before you open a PayPal dispute with is a serious offence. You've broken multiple of our terms in a very short time frame, so of course you are not entitled to a refund.

I am sorry to hear you haven't been satisfied with our service. However, you must accept our terms of service upon checkout. If you've read this, you'd have seen that in our acceptable usage policy that we do not allow abuse or excessive use of CPU resources: https://hostbrr.com/acceptable-use-policy/

A VPS shares resources with other clients, thus we do not allow consistently using 100% since this would degrade the performance for other clients. Therefore we throttled your service. We allow higher usage than most providers, even those costing 10 times more than us. We throttle and don't suspend as many other providers do. We allow you to resolve the issue.

There is a reason why VDS (virtual dedicated servers) exists. These plans are for people who need to use significant CPU resources without limitations.

In regards to your analogy, think of it like this, you cannot rent an apartment and then be noisy 24/7. You'd be asked to turn it down or be kicked out. It is the same here. You share the space with others and have to abide by the terms you have already agreed with.

Great Customer Service

Great Customer Service. It is inevitable in life that things go wrong. When that happens, that is what makes or breaks a business - How are they going to handle it? In my case, I had a persistent problem with a website, but they took care of it. And, because it took them a while, they gave me additional time on my account to make up for down time. What more can you reasonably ask for?

Imagine if i had important stuff on it.
If you care about your data, run away from them.

I am sorry that you've faced these issues. However what we offer is unmanaged services, and when your server crashes due to something you do yourself within the server then we cannot recover this for you.

We give you the tools neccesarry to resolve the issue and will offer support on how to troubleshoot such issues, but opening a ticket demanding we resolve a issue that isn't caused by us without any information then we can't do much to help.

Unbeatable Performance for the price! - Very satisfied customer

I purchased a cPanel reseller package from HostBRR a year ago, and I can confidently say it’s the cheapest yet most powerful hosting account I’ve ever had. Running on CloudLinux with 6 cores and 12GB RAM, the WordPress websites I host have never been faster.

Recently, I also got a DirectAdmin 1TB storage box and another cPanel hosting account, and both have been running smoothly without any issues.

I found HostBrr at a hosting deals…

I found HostBrr at a hosting deals forum.
The deal sounded too good to be true for the price, so I bought one vps to test it.
To my surprise, the few times I used the support, I got fast answer and solutions, specially when I locked my own account.
Regarding the services, I experienced no issues.
I recommend hostbrr because you get what you paid for, no oversell and steal from neighbour vps and because the support is quick and effective.
Wish all the best of luck to HostBrr, and if you're reading this, go ahead and try their services, they won't let you down.

Server went down, no message when it was back up and no auto restart of vps. Their invoicing is a mess too.

I am sorry to hear about your experience with us. It is correct we had a brief outage on one of our servers today which was resolved within 10 minutes. We do not send notifications on outages unless we expect this to take an extended amount of time. However, our status page at status.hostbrr.com always show live uptime information of all our servers. As it can be seen we have 99.99%+ uptime so outages are a rare occurance. The VPS should auto start after a incident but since you never reached out to support I can't check why it was not the case in your specific situation.
