My 4 year old is reading and writing now
I was a Hooked on Phonics kid growing up, and now so is my 4-year-old. The results are amazing, and my 4-year-old can now read and write. She is way ahead of her peers in preschool. She went from knowing all her letters and sounds to picking up books in 2 months and starting to read them. Highly impressed, and I can’t wait to keep seeing her progress as we continue using Hooked on Phonics.

My daughter age 4 1/2 feels more confident in reading and knows so many sights words. This program is worth it.

Hooked on phonics VS ABC Mouse
Before hooked on phonics, we subscribed to abcmouse. Although games are somewhat similar, the structure of hooked on phonics is far superior. My child isn’t allowed to just go to the future steps or just play whatever game he chooses. The guided pathway is ideal for structured learning. Hooked on phonics was a great investment for my child’s future.

I love this program! App freezes time to time..
the lessons are amazing and my child is advancing so quickly and using that knowledge in real time in his daily life but the app is slow and freezes often on his amazon kids fire tablet, and its the newest model.
