Homenow has helped us through their rent-to-own scheme, and the whole process was smooth and straightforward from start to finish. From the very first contact, Jemma was brilliant at kicking things off — she’s a lovely person and guided us through the application stage with so much patience and clarity.

A big thank you also to Charlie and Nicola for all their help along the way. The whole team made what could have been a stressful process feel really manageable.

I’d definitely recommend this scheme to anyone looking to own their own home within a couple of years.

Me and my wife had been planning on getting house for some time now and on one night came across an advert of Homenow while searching. We made an inquiry on their site at around midnight and by 10am Hal had reached out.
The process was very straightforward, and Michael was always there to help us through the application process. He made sure we understood everything and that we had everything we needs for the house in check.
After the whole underwriting process was complete and documents were signed, Charlie was very quick to provide all the documents and help us take the next steps.
We are very happy with the service we got and, we would recommend anyone who wants to get to own a house to consider Homenow.

Lack of communication.

Perdita was keen to get my details. Book a viewing and then communication stops except for a random email saying ‘we can’t help’ but then a text message to book a call.

Received a call from someone today who said they didn’t have my contact number which is strange as was on the application.

Contacted via website to ask to remove my details. No response twice.

Sorry but I cannot recommend.

We'd been looking at the advertisement for our property for a little while. It seemed too good to be true, so I called to enquire and spoke with Hal who answered all of my questions and alleviated my skepticism.
We were able to view the property a few days later and were even more assured by the development team on site.
I called Hal back there and then and said let's go!
From there it was such a simple, quick experience.
Michael was brilliant, he had a few queries about our finances - again, the questions he was asking spoke to his experience and he was very thorough explaining everything to us clearly and answering our questions too.
The team moved extremely fast and we can't believe we've been able to fast track our mortgage plans.
We'd highly recommend HomeNow to anyone who's wanting to get on the property ladder and feeling like they're stuck in a rental cycle.
The whole team was highly professional to deal with start to finish.

I have had the pleasure of interacting with Hal Hillman who organised a house viewing and an application for a home purchase plan. Hal was welcoming polite and very friendly. He kept me informed and dealt with everything swiftly. Great customer service. However, the positivity doesn’t stop there! I was then passed to Michael Adjekum who just enhanced my whole experience. He explained everything so well, very polite, and great to have a conversation with. He worked very hard to ensure we got all the information we needed and kept the bridge of communication between us and the underwriter. He responded swiftly and seemed to genuinely care about getting us this house. If I sent an email asking questions instead of emailing back, he would call me to ensure I fully understand what had been sent to me. He was absolutely amazing! This ultimately leading to a positive outcome. You have 2 great members of staff working for this company so please give them the recognition they deserve. I would highly recommend the company to anyone, and I am more than pleased with the customer service I received.

At first, I was very sceptical about this company, I’ve never heard of them in my local area or the scheme, with some investigating and speaking to others, they have heard of the scheme.

Firstly, Jemma dealt with us, such a lovely woman and very understanding, I also fount Jemma quite humorous too, she’s very good at her job and approachable. She helped us with our random messages at whatever time and she would always reply when she saw them. To you Jemma, we’re grateful.

Secondly, Charlie, we never really had much interaction with Charlie, but when we did speak over the phone, he was also a nice person, can’t really say much more as he sent some emails, we do apologise with all the dates we gave you to move in but you was always understanding but again, sorry for the constant changes!

Georgia, had communication with Georgia since moving in, she’s rang me a few times to check on the moving in, also enquiries and again. Pretty funny!

Thank you to everyone from home now who we’ve dealt with - Charlie, Georgia and Jemma. What a wonderful team.

We stumbled across a HomeNow listing for a home exactly like the one we were renting around the corner, although I was sceptical at first once I had done a bit of research and had a video call with Michael all my worries were eased.
The process has been so smooth throughout, even down to managing timings with crossover of the 2 properties.
Charlie was on hand via email to ease my worries and the resident moving team have all been super helpful too.
We got the keys straight from the property developer and we are now looking forward to become homeowners again after being stuck renting due to increasing rents for the last 10 years. HomeNow have made our dream a reality. Thankyou so much.

If any one out there who is currently paying rent and dreams of owning their own property Home Now is an amazing way and service to help you achieve it now. I've been rent-to-buying with Homenow since 1st March, and my experience with them has been nothing short of outstanding.

I reached out in January regarding one of their plots in Meon Vale, and they were able to book viewings for us the same day due to an upcoming holiday. We viewed two of the plots, liked the layout and design, and decided to go for it.
Before committing, we enquired about their other available plots. Homenow allowed us to view five properties in total — four 2-beds and a 3-bed — and we found that one particular 2-bed was perfect for us.

The application process was straightforward: credit checks, going over the process to make sure it was the right fit, and within two weeks we were agreeing on move-in dates.
I chose Homenow over buying directly for a couple of reasons. Affordability played a part — the 5% deposit back works nicely alongside my existing 5% savings — but honestly, it also came down to the fact that I'm a nervous buyer. I like to live somewhere first and make sure I'm happy before fully committing, and this scheme allows exactly that.

I'd been searching for properties for many months and even considered shared ownership over a year ago, but I genuinely believe this route is far better.

It wasn't all flawless — as I believe we were among the first on this scheme in this particular development, there were some teething issues with viewings through Persimmon and a little confusion around which appliances were included. That said, these were minor points that were resolved quickly.

A big shoutout to the entire team: Jemma was reassuring and incredibly knowledgeable about the scheme, and Charlie, Nicola, and Martin all deserve a mention too. The whole team has gone above and beyond for us, and we're really grateful for their support.
