After ten good years selling garden furniture and accessories all over Kent's markets, signs were starting to show that markets were becoming a thing of the past. So in 1997 we hung up the market sheet and moved into a small warehouse in the seaside town Whitstable From there we have become the go-to place in Kent for high quality garden furniture at the best price. We've grown from strength to strength over the past 20+ years, expanding to bigger warehouses. creating our massive garden furniture super store and creating over 50 jobs throughout the years, all while maintaining a tight-knit family business. Our mission is simple, to hold ourselves to a very high standard. We want every customer to have the same great experience with us as the next one. We will always be on the end of the phone to answer any questions or problems before, during and after your order. We aim to resolve issues as quickly and efficiently as possible and put smiles on faces. Always have, always will.

Happy with the service at Hills. We have just moved into the area and…
We have just moved into the area and were looking for garden furniture. We found Hills located at the back of the Tescos in Whitstable. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much for them. We purchased a garden bench that was to be delivered a couple of days later. The delivery driver was on time and positioned the bench where we wanted. Hills are a company that I will definitely be using again and would recommend to family and friends.

Ordered a patio umbrella and found it to be faulty. However, following a phone call to this Firm I was informed a replacement umbrella would arrive the next day. Excellent customer service.

Ensure you measure your entrance before ordering - my bad!
Great in-house service and staff. Delivery within a few days and, at £25, kept the price down.
Had been looking online for garden furniture for weeks but wanted to try before buying. Hills was the ideal place - we found something we both liked and agreed on, which is a hard task - bought the set there and then.
Would have given them a 5 star but, was initially charged wrong - a quick phonecall and the money was transferred back to us. Delivery guys also struggled to get the corner peice through my front door but my husband managed it when he got home.
Would highly recommend.

Friendly staff in the showroom. Very informative on the products. Gave us time to have a look around and make our decision, helpful but not pushy.
Got a delivery time/day which suited us, and we were kept informed on the day of an approximate arrival time. Very helpful/friendly drivers. Would highly recommend buying from Hills Home & Garden Ltd.

I am updating my review to say that the Hills people have been most apologetic, and say this hasn't happened before,
Having been in business all my life, I am aware things can spin out of control, and I am aware they are trying to locate how this happened.
A sincere apology, as they are offering, (and then looking forward to the resolution of the issue) is greatly appreciated.
The delivery side of the operation, DHL? was the reason for the incompetence and messed communication, we still don’t have the table & chairs we ordered!
Made worse by the fact that we had guests and celebrations and no where to sit!
First a digit was dropped from my phone number, so they couldn’t call me, then it transpired they ‘lost’ our order, eventually discovered it went to Birmingham not Dorset!!??
Seems the fault lies between the seller and the deliverer, all we know is is we are STILL without the set! And we also know that Hills are doing what they can to sort it.
We look forward to its arrival!

We’re very sorry for the frustration and disappointment this delivery has caused, particularly as you had guests and celebrations planned and were expecting to have your new furniture in time.
We completely understand how disappointing this situation is. Unfortunately, your furniture has been misplaced within the pallet courier’s delivery network. We have been in regular contact with both you and the courier throughout and have been doing everything we can from our side to get this resolved as quickly as possible.
The courier is currently carrying out an investigation to locate the pallet, including reviewing CCTV footage at their depots, and we are continuing to chase them for updates and a resolution.
We’re also sorry for the initial error with the telephone number, which certainly didn’t help matters and added to an already frustrating situation.
We pride ourselves on our customer service and our excellent delivery record, so we’re extremely disappointed that your order has been affected in this way. Please be assured that we haven’t forgotten about your order and will continue working hard with the courier until your furniture is located and delivered to you.
Once everything has been resolved and your furniture is safely with you, we would also like the opportunity to make this experience up to you and will be in touch regarding an appropriate gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience caused.
Our sincere apologies again, and thank you for your patience while we work to get this resolved.

The original items we originally ordered were out of stock we were very promptly given a refund , we were very dissapointed because we really wanted the items , we could not give a review because we did not have the items , i.got a telephone call from the owners saying they had what we wanted but they were not boxed , they sent us them overnight we have received them today and we are over the moon , the company went out of their way to rectify our problem , their service was exceptional , thank you very much , will definatly buy off them again.
