Great experience of Highlands and Skye
We enjoyed every moment of our 3-day Sky& Inverness tour with Hugh, the Piping Tour Guide. An end-of-March weather with sunshine, wind, rain and snow, together with Hugh's stories and piping (!), added even more drama to the already magnificent Highlands. The trip was well organized. Timing for stops and lunches was perfect - it seemed that even rain was managed! The accommodations in Inverness, Moyness House - great experience as well.

The one of the best companies I've toured with.
This was my second tour with this company ( I had already toured with them last August).
It absolutely met my expectations. Punctuality when departing, and just 10 minutes of delay when arriving (traffic issues). The guide, Aiden, made the experience the most enjoyable, knowing how to balance music, silence and narration, with a slight touch of humour from time to time. He even "presented" us with a couple of extra stops.
Enough time to enjoy each and every stop, without being constantly in a hurry.
I definitely recommend it.

3 day highlands and Skye tour
The experience matched the tour itinerary and we had ample opportunity and time to explore all the sites visited. The tour guide Jamie was knowledgeable and had lots of historic information and stories to bring the sites visited to life. The coach was clean and comfortable and the overnight accommodation was amazing. I stayed in a B&B which I recommend as you get a personalised experience rather than staying in a hotel. If you want to see all the main sites and get a true feel for the highlands and Skye then this is a must do trip.

Glenfinnan tour with our guide Moray!!
Yesterday we went on a tour from Edinburgh: Glenfinnan Viaduct, Hairy Coos & The Highlands. We had Moray as our tourguide! He was really lovely and funny! As well as his great outfit, he knew loads of facts, had brilliant taste in music and had us laughing a lot. The tour itself was also great! Especially the Glenfinnan Viaduct & the scenery at Glen Coe was a-ma-zing. The stop at the Hairy Coo’s was a little bit disappointing, as there were 3 hairy coos behind a fence with a LOT of tourist around them :(. But, all in all it was a great day, we would recommend it!

The magic of the Highlands
The Highlands are always a magical place, to me it means home and I was amazed by everything we saw. Glencoe is the place of a terrible massacre, consumed in a place so mesmerising that it's easy to lose yourself. I loved seeing the statue dedicated to Bonnie Prince Charlie, and getting on top of the small tower was incredibly fun. As a student and lover of history I enjoyed it greatly. Scotland is my second home, and it was great to be back.
What I didn't enjoy much was how little time we had to roam around, especially at Fort William, where we didn't have time for lunch and many people chose a McDonald's over the many local pubs. I already knew the pub and decided to have a quick lunch there, the meeting was at 13:25, I arrived at 13:28 and the people on the bus even clapped sarcastically over 2 minutes. The driver was very knowledgeable, but not very friendly.

It was fab. Chris (our guide) was knowledgeable throughout. I wanted to go to McQueen's grave site in Skye. It wasn't on the plan, but chris made it happen!. Weather was 👌, I'd highly recommend this tour and company!. I forgot to mention the B & B.....it was lovely, the room was so clean and the breakfast was 👌

Highland Experience Tour: A Perfect Way to Explore Scotland
Our 3 days and 2 nights trip with Highland Experience was an excellent way to explore Scotland, especially the beautiful Highlands. The tour was well-organized, comfortable, and thoughtfully planned, allowing us to enjoy the scenery, culture, and history without any stress.
Our tour leader and driver, Graham, added great value to the experience by sharing stories and historical background along the way. Even though his Scottish accent was sometimes challenging to understand, we really enjoyed it—it felt authentic and made the journey more memorable. He was also very caring and attentive, always making sure we were safely picked up and dropped off at our accommodation.
We highly recommend Highland Experience to anyone who wants to truly explore Scotland in a convenient, informative, and enjoyable way.

The courteous bus driver
The bus driver, host and tour guide, Kenny. He gave new meaning to the words, friendly and courteously. He also seemed very knowledgeable about the many tidbits of info he shared about Edinburgh, the history of Scotland and Scots in general and especially the epic movie starring Mel Gibson, Brave Heart (a fine movie for Hollywood). I enjoyed just about everything on the tour except maybe the lunch at the Oak Tree Inn, where I literally froze my assistance off, for a little while anyway. Then I finally began thinking for myself and asked why can't I just go inside where it's nice and warm and enjoy a nice lunch without shivering. I just should have informed our tour guide before going inside, which I never would have done if not for the instance of my companion, Ginger. The lunch turned out to be quite lovely and warm for that matter. Thank you Kaptain Kirk for your understanding and for being a wonderful tour guide and bus driver. And thank you especially for not leaving me behind at any of our stops. Best of luck with your upcoming marriage to Lindsey. All the best. Regards, David

Amazing time with Highland Experience Tours
I had an amazing tour with Highland Experience Tours! The booking process was smooth and my trip was true to the description with plenty of time to explore each stop. Jamie was my guide and he went above and beyond! He was professional, but also warm and friendly. I felt like I was with a friend instead of a stranger. He has a gift for storytelling and I could listen to his voice for the rest of my life and never get bored. He provided the perfect combination of history, perfectly timed music, and jokes. This was my first tour, and I can’t imagine I’ll ever get a better tour guide than Jamie. I’ll rebook with Highland Experience when I come back to Scotland!

The best time during our two day tour
We had te best time during our two day tour (jacobite steam train and the great glen). Amazing views and storytelling by our driver/tourguide Ben about the history and context of our surroundings. It was amazing! Everything, including accomodation, was perfectly organised and Ben was super enthousiastic, professional and relaxed. Defenetely recommended to participate in a tour!!

Hyland Experience Tours should be Ashamed of themselves
When I signed up for his tour through Get Your Guide, it explained a tour that would fill us with the rich 5000 year history of the Highlands The first thing our guide Craig did was apologize for not knowing anything about the history of the places we were going or about the Highlands. The day before was the first time he'd driven the route as a recon mission, and we were his first five day tour. He'd never even done an overnight before. I was in the front seat, and before we left, the bus started making a weird noise. When Craig asked his supervisor about it, he said he'd get him a new bus at our next stop. That never happened. Instead, we had to endure five days of a loose fan belt, which sounded like an electric drill. When that wasn't happening, there was a swoshing sound like an ocean machine was on. This made it difficult to understand the already heavy Scotland accent of our driver. Two of the place we were supposed to visit did not allow large buses. Craig sweet talked one of them into letting us stop because he was new. Our accommodations were spread out all over the areas we stopped with some not within walking distance to restaraunts for dinner. I called Get Your Guide, whom I booked the tour through and explained all of this, requesting a refund. Hyland Experience lied, saying all their drivers are well seasoned and knowledgable. Craig isn't even on thier website, he's so new. I love Get Your Guide as they respectfully refunded a part of the tour when Hyland Experience refused to acknowledge the problem and discontent customer.

We are very sorry to read your negative feedback regarding your 5-Day Scottish Choice Tour and regret that your experience did not meet expectations. However, we must clarify several points in your review.
As explained in detail in the email correspondence sent to you, your tour departure did operate as scheduled, with all key elements of the itinerary covered to the best extent possible under the day’s conditions. The driver will always attempt to make a stop at the Glenfinnan monument itself, but unfortunately on this day the carpark was full, and the staff on site were not accepting any buses. We do reserve the right to alter our itineraries, and we are glad you were still able to experience the beautiful surrounding scenery and drive much of the route of the Jacobite Steam Train.
We are shocked to read your feedback regarding your expert driver guide. All our guides, including new members of the team, undergo extensive training and route familiarization before leading any multi-day tour. While Craig was newer to leading extended tours, he is a fully licensed and qualified guide who met all required standards before departure. Only a small handful of drivers are highlighted at any given time on our website and we have a large team of professional guides and drivers. Our quality records and passenger feedback from other customers do not reflect your comments. While regional accents can occasionally present challenges for some visitors, this does not reflect a lack of knowledge or effort on the guide’s part. We encourage passengers to voice such concerns during the tour so that accommodations can be made in real time. We can understand that a joke poking fun about not knowing some of the locations was not appreciated out of context and this feedback has been passed to our transport management.
Regarding the vehicle, it was fully inspected before departure and cleared for service. Our fleet is maintained to high standards, and we would not knowingly send out a vehicle that is not fully fit for purpose. Our vehicles are checked every morning and evening to ensure that everything is functioning properly, but unfortunately issues can occur whilst on tour. A minor noise was reported and monitored throughout the trip and did not pose a safety risk. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused regarding the noise on the bus and we have taken your feedback on board.
We welcome all feedback that helps us improve, but we must also defend our guides and company and we are confident that your driver guide went above and beyond to try to give you a wonderful experience on tour. We remain committed to providing authentic, high-quality Highland experiences to every passenger but we regret that we were unable to match your expectations this time.
