A great experience. Wish I had something like this when my parents were alive and would have used it for them. The interviewer was fantastic....engaged and well prepared.

The experience was great because Lee Gaines knew the questions to ask and I was guided without knowing I was 'being guided"! I loved every minute of going back in time! I was struggling to explain how it was, as if I were explaining events that today's young have no concept!! Life is amazing!!

Lindsey was great at making me feel comfortable talking about myself and telling her stories - something that doesn't usually come naturally.

My story could have covered 80 years. In my pre-interview questions, I had only touched on the questions which were asked in the prelims/. The first thing I told Lindsey is that there is too much in my life to cover any of it well, so she suggested that we focus on my Army years and after. We agreed on that and started in. Lindsey listened and asked important questions about what may have happened in my life to cause a major turn-around from college as I quit and joined the Army where I did so well. At the end, she asked me a question about what or why my life seemed to change to the positive after having joined the Army and beyond. I gave an honest answer to her question. Much of it was from people I had met who guided me along the way, my wife and my Lord!

I did enjoy the personal approach from Dominic, the interviewer, she provided me the comfort level as to open up my inner feeling and thought, also I like the way she posted the questions as to lead the conversation for my story telling. Her friendliness and thoughtful manner really has made my nervousness disappeared which resulted with a production of successful conversation with the interview. If I were decided to have another artifact conduct in the future, there’s no doubt that I’ll definitely request her to be my interviewer.

The idea behind Artifact is magnificent. I really enjoyed the interaction with journalist Colby and was impressed by the profesional way he conducted the interview.

I look forward to the transcript or the recording and a second interview to complete the narrative on my life experiences.

Prior to the interview I had expected the questioning to be a chore and was concerned about needing to remember facts/stories. Mike put me at ease and made the experience pleasant.

Mike made us feel comfortable, and made a point to identify with us, and appreciate us! He left plenty of room for us to tell our story while still efficiently moving us ahead.

It was just heart warming to bring back good memories about our family. The feeling was breaktaking and touching. The interviewer did a great job eliciting good feelings and memories.

I didn’t know what to expect when I signed up but wow am I glad I took the chance. It was such an amazing experience. I never knew how many little things I had forgotten until my interviewer asked me all this little questions about my daughter. It’s going to be something that my daughter will cherish when she’s older and so will I. It’s so good to know that all these memories have now been captured in my voice for her.

Stephen’s interview with my 94 year old client was fantastic, he was patient and made her feel comfortable.

Colby is a great interviewer. Very warm, friendly, yet non-intrusive. I felt like I was talking with an old friend.
