James was absolutely fantastic with the Party Wall Agreement as the other party was going away on holiday and I needed it signed so as not to delay works.
He was on the ball, with quick emails, responses and contact with the other party. Couldn't have asked for any better. He even got the one month notice period waived. Well done!
A really great guy who went above and beyond for us when our neighbours were being difficult. He spent many additional hours chasing correspondence from them and did not charge us for the additional time and effort.
Throughout the process we found him to be punctual, polite and fair. Couldn’t recommend him enough.

As my neighbour's application was granted for an extension he contacted James to draw up a Party Wall Award between us. James promptly contacted myself and arranged a visit and was very polite, explained the process and answered all my concerns. He frequently communicated via phone and email which was very reassuring and provided a detailed Party Wall Award within a short timeframe. I would certainly recommend James and Herts Party Wall Surveyors if anyone is looking for this type of service.

James is a very knowledgable, excellent surveyor. His service was great value and he was all round lovely to deal with, highly recommend.
I initially contacted James for advice as I was a little overwhelmed, having tried to initiate the party wall agreements myself with both of my neighbours and getting no response. James was really helpful and explained the process to me, and was happy to talk me through it all, and reassured me about the different scenarios and outcomes. He gave me some great ‘free’ advice initially.
Shortly after this I realised I could really do with some help pushing the process through and so I instructed James to take over for me. He got to it promptly, and really helped push things forward. The outcome has been absolutely fantastic, with James getting both neighbours onboard, agreeing to the works without the need for surveyors, which was not expected at all! Therefore saving us hundreds!
My only regret is not instructing James sooner!
