Herne Bay Domestics is an independent, family-run business which was established on the Herne Bay high street in 1984. Our reputation is built upon a combination of high-level customer service and care, and the ability to provide a large stock of domestic appliances at extremely competitive prices, as a result of close relationships with major manufacturers and being part of Euronics. We therefore believe that we have found the right balance between being able to care for the needs of every individual customer, whilst still often being able to offer the same products and prices as the biggest retailers in this field. Our team of delivery drivers and engineers are able to install every product we sell, as well as being able to demonstrate to customers how their new appliance works, and answering any queries on this matter. Meanwhile, our sales team are immediately on hand to fix any subsequent issues, as opposed to having to go through call centres and long queues. Great Service, Speedy and Fairly Priced
Our Baumatic double oven was overheating within the main oven, I checked on the Herne Bay Domestics website, couldn't see Baumatic as a brand they covered, but rang anyway and they said they did.
Visit booked for two days later, great guy, Leo, turned up and established that it probably was the thermostat. Spent a bit of his time sourcing one and returned to fit it a few days later.
The replacement part worked a treat and so saved us in excess of £500 for a new oven. Leo explained everything patiently and with good humour - good guy. Herne Bay Domestics will always be my first port of call from now on.

My washing machine started to go wrong…
My washing machine started to go wrong and Herne Bay domestics sent a repair man out who fixed it and advised we may be lucky and the fix would last but unfortunately the machine was totally clogged. After a week it died for good and so I ordered a machine from Herne Bay Domestics who delivered and fitted within 2 days of the order. The delivery was free but to fit and take away the old one was £90 but that was money well spent as the machine was built in and the delivery guys did a brilliant job of butting the new machine in and attaching the cupboard door. Brilliant company, I would use again and highly recommend. Give a local firm a try before looking elsewhere.

Efficient, friendly service for a decent price
Efficient, friendly service for a decent price. Needed a chest freezer quickly as it’s the hottest day of the year so far and I just moved into a new home and managed to source one here with same day collection. Really friendly team too will definitely purchase from here again

Excellent service
We much appreciated the excellent service of Herne Bay Domestics. Very helpful and friendly repair men fixed our cooker enabling us to keep and not dump a repairable appliance. Also fitted a new Liebherr freezer with 10year guarantee which seems a great deal.

Excellent Company
Excellent service. Polite, careful delivery men. I looked at several companies. Although the price of the item (Bosch tumble dryer) was identical, all of them charged between £20 and £30 delivery. Herne Bay Domestics offer free delivery. Choosing Herne Bay Domestics therefore, was the company to choose. Wouldn't go anywhere else now for my electrcal goods.

Absolutely amazing service- faultless
My elderly mum’s fridge suddenly broke and I needed a replacement urgently- I called Herne Bay Domestics at 10:30 am and I had a new one delivered in less than 2 hours!!! I can’t praise them enough - what complete stars, thank you so much HBD, I wholeheartedly recommend them

Excellent Service
I recently ordered a Bosch Single Oven. Not only was the price competitive, delivery was free and the cost of installation, removal of packaging and taking my old oven was very reasonable. Indeed considerably less than other well known suppliers.
Placing the order was straight forward, I could choose a delivery day and received a text the day before it was due to notify me of my allocated time slot.
The guys on the day did an excellent job.
I’m very happy with the product and the whole experience. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Gold standard service
We have used HBD before and once again they have delivered...quite literally. We placed the order online (mid afternoon) and had a confirmatory phonecall within 30mins followed texts to outline the delivery plan. The goods were on our doorstep at 0830 the next day and, within 30 minutes, the old oven had been removed and new one installed. What service!
The two installers were chatty, helpful, and informative. They left no mess and gave clear instructions for first use.
Thankyou for a level of service that is gold standard and is the key reason we have used the company once again

This company was a pleasure to deal with. They are efficient, courteous and helpful. They give a day and time slot for delivery or call out. They then phone about fifteen minutes before they arrive. On arrival they are fast and totally efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Superb service
Superb service, I ordered a washing machine online, very easy to use website, I was sent an email the day before the delivery date giving a three hour delivery time. The machine was delivered on time, all packaging removed and taken away, and the machine placed in my kitchen as requested, I didn't pay for installation. The old machine taken away as requested and paid for. The delivery guys where friendly and professional. This is my third time of using Herne Bay Domestics and I will continue to do so, I suggest you give them a try too.
