Herne Bay Domestics is an independent, family-run business which was established on the Herne Bay high street in 1984. Our reputation is built upon a combination of high-level customer service and care, and the ability to provide a large stock of domestic appliances at extremely competitive prices, as a result of close relationships with major manufacturers and being part of Euronics. We therefore believe that we have found the right balance between being able to care for the needs of every individual customer, whilst still often being able to offer the same products and prices as the biggest retailers in this field. Our team of delivery drivers and engineers are able to install every product we sell, as well as being able to demonstrate to customers how their new appliance works, and answering any queries on this matter. Meanwhile, our sales team are immediately on hand to fix any subsequent issues, as opposed to having to go through call centres and long queues. If only ALL companies were as good at customer service as Herne Bay Domestics! They are such nice people, and so straightforward and easy to deal with. I needed a new tumble dryer and I called them up, got excellent advice and they delivered and installed a new one within 24 hours, with no fuss. The guys who delivered and installed the machine were so helpful. This is, I think, the third time I have bought a kitchen appliance from them and I would never go anywhere else. 100% recommended!

Ordered and delivered within 2 days. Courtesy call to say when my time slot would be. Installers were knowledgeable, quick and friendly. Explained about warranty and asked if i had any questions.

Leo the engineer was brilliant. Called with up to date arrival time. Professional and friendly.
Quickly identified the problem and how to rectify it. Ordered new parts.
HBD were also considerably cheaper than AEG.

This is my second purchase from HBD
This is my second purchase from HBD, I remain very impressed!
Ordering was easy, prices were competitive and delivery on time.
The men delivering were both friendly and one of them took time to explain basically where things were and how it worked, I had gone from a vented to condenser dryer. The machine was then tested to ensure it was working, all took about 15 minutes.
Very happy with the service HBD provides from, Nick who advised next day text time for delivery and if I had any questions to the men who delivered my dryer. Well done!👏

Amazing service
After a very disappointing failure on my Rangemaster cooker which was only just out of warranty I called Herne Bay Electrics to repair it. They went above and beyond to not only fix the appliance but also attempted to help with getting Rangemaster to supply the parts at no cost. Sadly Rangemaster did not apply the same level of customer care and refused to help at all. Leo at Herne bay reduced the charges significantly for me by doing the second part of the repair at cost. I cannot thank them enough good old fashioned customer service- so refreshing highly recommend!!!

Not a bad choice for home appliances.
A pleasure to do business with and i am sure i will again in the future, a seamless transaction from ordering a gas hob and built-in oven (a certain other appliance shop didn't have this model in stock and suggested we drive to Eastbourne to get one!?) at the same time online to delivery (on a Saturday morning)which was just days after ordering having had a text the day before for a 3 hour delivery window, both items delivered inside those times in perfect condition, all-in-all good old fashioned customer service, thanks for all your help.

What excellent Service !!
In the past I have always purchased from Amazon but at the moment my mobility is not so good and I needed help to install a new tumble drier.
I couldn't have made a better choice than Herne Bay Domestics. They helped me select a suitable dryer, They delivered at the scheduled time, The delivery gents were extremely pleasant and helpful, they installed the dryer efficiently and removed all of the packaging etc. left over.

Herne bay domestics were marvelous. I received help to choose exactly the right electric cooker to suit my needs. It was delivered quickly with great care. I had no working cooker for 4 days before I got InTouch with Herne bay domestics due to purchasing from an on line only company and receiving one that could not be used. That is a mistake I won't make again. I will always purchase from and recommend to family and friends to buy locally from Herne bay domestics a business that makes you feel you and your needs actually matter . I had made a mistake with a…
I had made a mistake with a fridge:freezer order and when it arrived I discovered I’d ordered the wrong one. HBD sorted me the correct one and delivered it the next day.
The guys then overcame a problem because my original had been jammed in by the installers and it took a lot of work to get it out!!
Finally sorted it, so many thanks all round.

Had a 17 year old AEG cooking job with…
Had a 17 year old AEG cooking job with a plate not working. On inspection the hob had been sealed into the worktop making it an issue to remove. So we decided to replace it with a NEFF induction hob. It was 10cm larger than the old one so some of the work surface would need to be removed. My concern were my glass, yes glass, tiles as they are rather delicate that surround the hob. When the two fitters came the following day they were aware of the tiles and were very careful when doing to job. Excellent fitting, fabulous job, first class service. I’d have no hesitation to recommend this company and no doubt if I need other white goods then will be contacting Herne Bay Domestics.

I never write reviews but this company deserves the praise, from point of sale and me bombarding them with questions they couldn’t do enough to help. Thanks to Andy . Good price with free 5 year warranty AND free disposal of the old unit.
The technicians that attended were professional and polite and very experienced.

Fitters are very experienced at solving washing machine problems especially Leo who managed to find out what was wrong with it within minutes!
