PeterAI was created to make modern technology easier, calmer, and more accessible for older adults. The idea behind PeterAI comes from very personal experiences. One of our co-founders grew up with a father named Peter, who had always been fascinated by technology. Peter loved computers, new devices, and, later on, artificial intelligence. He followed developments with genuine curiosity and excitement. However, as he got older, actually using modern technology became increasingly difficult for him. Interfaces grew more complex, instructions more confusing, and small frustrations quickly added up. It wasn’t a lack of interest or ability — it was that technology was no longer designed with his generation in mind. At the same time, we observed similar struggles with our grandmother, Imke. Every day digital tasks such as understanding messages, navigating a smartphone, or dealing with online services often felt overwhelming, even though she was intelligent, curious, and eager to stay connected. These experiences led to a simple but powerful question: What if technology adapted to people, instead of people constantly having to adapt to technology? PeterAI was built as an answer to that question. It is a voice-first assistant designed specifically for older adults. Users can simply speak in plain language and receive clear, patient answers without technical jargon or pressure. PeterAI helps with everyday questions, explanations, and guidance, always at a comfortable pace. Our mission is to help people feel confident, independent, and supported in a digital world. We believe everyone deserves access to technology that respects their needs, regardless of age. PeterAI exists to make sure curiosity and confidence don’t fade just because technology keeps changing.

Great for curious older generation

My parents love to google things all day long, but it got increasingly difficult for them to find answers in the mass of provided results. Also, the devices they used got bigger and bigger as their eyesight worsened.
So without having to introduce them to ChatGPT and other LLMs, I suggested this Tool. As far as I know, they love Peters support! It’s easy to understand and makes life just so much easier.

I got Peter AI for my mother

I got Peter AI for my mother, and it has honestly made a bigger difference than I expected.

We FaceTime regularly, but our calls often started with the same challenge: explaining basic phone things. For example, I would have to guide her step by step just to put the call on speaker. It often took time and was frustrating for both of us.

What makes Peter AI so great is how simple it is. The interface has very few buttons, everything is clear, and she can navigate it on her own without feeling overwhelmed.

The best part is that now she can ask Peter directly when she runs into small tech questions. Instead of spending half our call troubleshooting, we actually get to use our time to talk about how we’re doing.

For anyone looking for an AI tool that is truly designed for seniors, I can highly recommend Peter

Super intuitive app

I downloaded PeterAI for my grandfather and it’s actually the first time he is using AI. I was a bit skeptical at first whether he will be able to use the app because he is already 87 years old, but it’s very intuitive and has a clear UI, especially designed for old people. Can really recommend it if you are searching for a safe AI tool for your parents or grandparents.

A gentle and helpful companion

I’ve been looking for a way to help my grandmother use AI without it feeling overwhelming.

Calm and reassuring to use

I’m helping an older family member with everyday things, and PeterAI has been a really positive addition.

What stands out is how calm and patient it feels. There’s no pressure, no fast talking, and no assumption that you already understand how everything works. Questions can be asked by voice, and the answers are explained in a way that actually feels reassuring, not overwhelming.

The daily summary email is also very helpful. It gives a simple overview of what was talked about, which makes it easier to remember things and feel confident about what was understood.
