DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE A FOOD ALLERGY.

We were seated and told to use a QR code to view the menu and place our order. At no point were we asked whether anyone in our party had allergies. The online menu listed ingredients and allergens, but there was absolutely no clear warning stating that they refuse to serve customers with food allergies.

What is truly alarming is that the online ordering system would have happily accepted and processed our order without any warning — despite the fact that we were later told they cannot provide food to anyone with an allergy due to cross-contamination risks. That is genuinely scary. If I hadn’t double-checked at the till, the order could have gone through with no safeguards in place. For anyone with a serious allergy, that is a dangerous system.

After spending over 30 minutes choosing food and attempting to pay (phone wallet isnt accpted only their own paymet link), we were told at the till — only because I asked — that they do not serve anyone with food allergies at all.

This should be made crystal clear at the entrance, on the website, and on the ordering platform before customers waste their time — or worse, unknowingly place an unsafe order.

Completely unacceptable communication and very poor service. We left without being served.

My first time at Circle Square, Manchester and the last. I was meeting a friend at 12 noon. I got there 10 minutes early - needed the bathroom - disgusted. Each cubicle was grubby and had no toilet paper except for one that had excrement stuck to the pan!
I would have left straight away but felt I couldn't let my friend down who had suggested the venue. On the plus side the serving staff were lovely and so was the food albeit eaten with some trepidation ...

Following a fantastic in-office event, we decided to wrap up our day with a networking session at Hello Oriental, and we couldn't have been more pleased.

The culinary experience was excellent, the warm hospitality of our host, Jay, and the entire staff was truly remarkable, and the ambiance was both relaxing and inviting.

What's more, Hello Oriental's ideal location, ease of access, and extended hours until 12 made it a perfect choice. Thanks Jay and Team for a wonderful evening!

with every single delivery within Manchester not only is it prompt, but every staff member i have encountered has been wonderful. Prices are so good for what you get. produce such high quality. 100 percent would recommend, with brand new products being uploaded regularly. Try the lychee wine it is astonishing!

Very quick delivery, good products and when I contacted customer service with an enqury regarding my order, they answered the phone very quickly, were polite, professional and helpful. I will definiately order from this company again.

Great choice, great prices, and saved me having to expensive ‘small’ shops from online retailers as I was able to get everything in one place. Delivery was really quick, efficient, and delivery man was lovely, friendly and polite. And everything was efficiently packed with nothing squished or crushed

Very efficient

Made an order for about £100, including frozen items. The order arrived very quickly, just the next day, and was incredibly well packaged. Every jar was bubble wrapped and the frozen food was given a lot of the ice packs to keep them frozen on arrival. Some really good prices offered on their site, and they were quick to respond to my order queries too. Really happy with my order and will be ordering more baby octopi soon!

Expensive to ship via DPD, but it gets me my frozen Dim Sum! Items arrived very well packed, the ice packs kept frozen food well chilled. Fresh vegetables are in great condition too.
